The Olive Branch

St Ives is our UK loud at destination of choice and so is The Olive Branch.
Our hosts, Julie & Justin are the nicest people, the rooms super comfortable and bathrooms excellent.
A word of warning; Julie’s wonderful ‘Full English’ will mean you will not need anything for lunch and maybe not at tea time!
Other, lighter options are available but hey, when you’re on holiday, it would be rude not to🤣

I have just returned from a lovely stay at The Olive Branch. Justin and Julie are the perfect hosts; nothing is too much bother for them. They were informative and friendly and I felt very relaxed and happy. 

Justin was able to give advice and suggestions on places to visit and places to eat including a safe shelter to eat chips away from the gulls!

I was in the single room which was a good size with fabulous en-suite.  Everywhere was clean and tidy. Plenty of storage space and hangers  for clothes. Lovely selection of teas and coffee and the added addition of a little fridge; very handy for the supplied jug of non dairy milk I was given. 

Breakfast was a feast even for a vegan like me. I was fortunate as Julie makes her own plant based sausages and her scrambled tofu was lush!

I would highly recommend a stay here. I will be back!


Just returned from a weeks stay at The Olive Branch. The hosts Justin and Julie were very welcoming, helpful and with lots of interesting information. It was a relaxed atmosphere and there was always a smile and humour. Communication was also excellent regarding our booking.  Superb breakfast with a good choice on the menu. Everything was very clean and the location is great. Would highly recommend and would definitely return. 

This is our third visit to The Olive Branch, last time being pre-covid.  However, whilst adjustments have been made to the way they operate, Julie and Justin are still great host.  They are very welcoming and have a great knowledge of the area to advise on places to visit.  The bedrooms are extremely clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities.  Fresh milk and bottled cold water are available daily from the fridge in the hallway.  A very varied choice of breakfast is available and expertly cooked by Julie and served with a smile and good humour by Justin. I highly recommend a visit to The Olive Branch. 

Went to St Ives for a week and the Olive Branch was a real find, it’s location is brilliant within everything in St Ives in walking distance and it only a few minutes from the town centre, the place is very clean and the breakfast is excellent with a large selection cooked with quality produce. The big bonus are the hosts Justin and Julia with their local knowledge and friendly approach, they helped me plan my daily activities walks , nothing was too much trouble, I will stay again and would highly recommend.

Lovely clean rooms with sea views, a fantastic breakfast and friendly hosts who gave us great info on things happening in the town. The location is perfect, with everywhere a short walk away. Access by road is excellent too and there is parking. We loved every minute of our stay there and we'll definitely be back.

A beautiful comfortable room in a great location. A wide variety of teas, coffee and  biscuits in the room. Our room had a sea view.  A warm welcome from the hosts, Julie and Justin. A delicious breakfast catering for all tastes.  Very close to all amenities. I highly recommend this B&an.

Our stay at The Olive Branch was absolutely amazing. Since we arrived we felt like at home because Justin and Julie were really friendly and kind. They helped us with our visits in ST Ives and they made scrumptious breakfasts every morning!!

Julie & Justin are the perfect hosts, this is our 4th stay & 2nd this year & every stay is just as perfect as the one before.
The rooms are clean, modern, comfortable with good views from room 1, 3 & 5 with lots of small extras that are a perfect added touch including fresh milk for your cuppa & bathroom essentials 
There are plenty of yummy options for breakfast options including home made jam,marmalade,sausage 
 Justin is always so helpful with ideas of where to visit, best restaurants, travel options & daily weather reports which always helps you plan your day
They went way above their duty of b&b owners to rescue us when we were stranded after a long coastal walk
We would never go anywhere else now we have found this b&b as its also in the most perfect location in St Ives & would wholeheartedly recommend this to everyone

Well what can I say Julie and Justin have really got this place spot on ,
Whatever you choose from the breakfast menu is 5 star , we know because we tried pretty much everything, 
This place is spotless, friendly and very local to st ives centre .
Bonus is there is parking depending on which room you book too, 
Will definitely return here on our next visit to st ives.

Wonderful B&B with lovely hosts

Perfect stay in every way

We have been holidaying in St Ives for over twenty years and can say, without fear of contradiction, that this is the best place we have ever stayed at. 
St Ives is famous or rather infamous for the lack of parking - no issues here as our hosts have parking for guests and the B&B is just a five minute walk from the town and beaches.
Julie & Justin are perfect hosts their B&B is decorated and finished to a very high standard and the rooms are exceptional. 
A wide choice of breakfasts is available and after eating a 'full english' each morning, we were set for the day and only needed a light snack at lunchtime.

Had a fantastic stay,Justin and Julie made us really welcome,and Arthur,The olive branch is really beautiful ,home from home and in a great location for everything.fantastic breakfast with plenty off choice ,our room was lovely and spotless.Car parking is real bonus. Can't Waite to visit St Ives again and stay at the Olive Branch we had a really relaxing holiday and would highly recommend.Paul and Sam
