Meadow lakes holiday park

We only stayed 2 nights as it was our first little family camping trip with a 2 year old and a 1 year old, but it was the PERFECT place to take them to introduce them to it. We didn’t need to leave the campsite there was so much to do. The soft play area was fantastic. We had such a laugh and our daughters loved it. The pool was great, really clean and relatively warm on a pretty chilly rainy September Saturday. reallly cosy cafe with very yummy hot food and cakes. A brilliant walk around some stunning lakes where we picked big juicy blackberries! And the roaming chickens, geese and guinea pig pen was a lovely touch. The play park was also incredible. It was massive and so well thought out. The whole campsite was well thought out and the bathrooms and showers were clean too! We were in such a fab location in our camper, right in the middle of everything and we had the camping area to ourselves which was a special touch. We will definitely be returning as we loved it so much. When I was a kid we used to camp a lot but we always had a favourite that we’d go back to every year and I think we’ve just found our new favourite that will be the location of many memories for our babies to come.
