Christine was an amazing host, warm welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.The room was a delight, warm with a very comfortable bed.The bathroom was divine, a great walk in shower.Food was excellent and Jane the chef was a delight.

Great host and staff.  Beautiful room.  Good food.  All in all very good value.  Would definitely stay again.

Great little pub in a quiet location but close to major routes. The communication from owner was great and welcomed me on arrival. The room was very modern, clean spacious and well equipped. The bed was really comfy with high quality bed sheets and duvet. I enjoyed a meal on the second night which was fabulous and well presented. The menu had a good range of food without being too complicated, the breakfast again had a great choice and was delicious. I will certainly be staying again next time I am working in the area. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

Lovely place, nice and clean, friendly atmosphere and top quality food!!

We stayed in one of the rooms in the annexe which was superb. Large and comfortable with a large bathroom, we wanted for nothing whilst we were there. Christine was attentive and welcoming. The cook, Jane was a delight and very accommodating.

An outstanding place to stay ; we were there to visit the Lincolnshire Aviation Centre and the Inn is the perfect place to stay being only 10 minutes drive away. It's very clean and well taken care of and every detail is attended to  for your comfort. Jane who is the chef is excellent at her job and was available for an early breakfast so we weren't late for our ride on a Lancaster bomber. Food was incredible quality and arrived on hot plates too. I can't rate The Red Lion any more highly. Definitely a great choice if you're visiting the area.

My husband visited with his older, partially disabled, brother and his wife - specifically to see the 80th anniversary celebrations of the Dambusters raid.On arrival they were greeted so very warmly by the proprietor Christine and shown to the accessible bedroom, which was perfect - a very large room on the level with easy access to the main hotel and dining room. Everything in the room was designed to assist the disabled and Christine couldn’t do enough to get them settled and comfortable. My husbands room was also very comfortable and quite large. The food was prepared by the equally helpful and pleasant Jane and was really delicious and cooked to order - breakfasts and evening meals were thoroughly enjoyed by all three of them. This hotel was a fantastic find, and the overall lasting impression was of how wonderfully helpful and empathetic both Christine and Jane were, and of the quality and value of the delicious food. We could not recommend this hotel highly enough, and thank the ladies for their care and effort

A Fabulous Stay

We stayed here last year and we really like it. Returned and everything really good again. Room was lovely x food excellent x room had tea and coffee making facilities.  Bathroom had plenty of supplies.  Room was clean and well furnished.  Owner welcoming and friendly and remembered us from last year. We will be back

Excellent stay

Stayed just the one night but had a very pleasant time. Greeted immediately on arrival and all needs were catered for. Enjoyed a tasty evening meal in the lovely outside area at the end of a warm summer's day. And breakfast, ordered the night before, in the same place too.Reassured about the staffs adherence to Covid safety measures.Perhaps a bit off the beaten track but very peaceful obviously and wouldn't hesitate about spending more time there if happened to be in the area again.They were also very kind in forwarding something on that I'd left behind too.

Very pleasant stay.

Just one night and a quiet Thursday night for the hosts. We were arriving later than expected and we were phoned to see if the chef should stay on for us which she did. Thank goodness she did, fantastic food and a warm welcome. Even Crumble the gorgeous GSD welcomes us!Comfy stay in a lovely room. Would definitely return if up their way again

Warm welcome, great food

The Red Lion is a real home from home, the owner is extremely friendly, we were shown to our room and everything in there was explained how it worked, what time the restaurant opened and closed, what time breakfast was in the morning.We had a great meal in the evening at a very competitive prices, the food was excellent, all the produce was sourced locally and was fresh and very tasty.Breakfast this morning was superb, as much cereal, tea, coffee, toast with home made jams and marmalade, then there was choice of many cooked breakfasts of which we had a full English which was lovely.I would highly recommend this Hotel/Restaurant, we will be coming back as soon as possible.Peter Copleston Petts Wood Kent

We were visiting friends who live nearby and my wife found this Gem on the internet. We booked it based on very good reviews. We were not disappointed at all, in fact the facilities are excellent and very clean. The breakfast is second to none. They use locally supplied products. The food served in the restaurant is of equal quality and the service is excellent.
