6 of us rocked up at Olivers on Saturday. What a little gem. Martine very welcoming without being too ott. Lovely bedrooms and en-suites. Well equipped with lots of tea choices and biscuits. Breakfast both mornings a real treat, breakfast Chris was a really nice lady and nothing was too much trouble. We all really enjoyed our stay and as we have family in Scarborough will be back. 

Really lovely place to stay. The room was spacious and clean. Very welcoming hosts and a lovely breakfast served by a very friendly lady called Chris. Great location for the seafront and town centre. Couldn't find a single fault with it!

Stayed here 5-7 august for the cricket! easy to find and park up not in the meter zone so no getting a ticket from the hotel ! Room nice and clean comfy bed plenty of pillows! Lovely breakfast i.e. Cereal, juice,fruit , full English x toast plenty of tea x coffee 5 min walk from sea front and around 15 min walk to centre pubs lol just watch out for sea gulls (very noisy) lol , oh and Yorkshire lost!! 

We spent 2 nights here and Christine and Martine were very friendly and helpful. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. Breakfast was delicious and set us up well for the day. Muchas gracias y buena suerte!

Great location

The only 2 things this place has going for it is the owners/staff and the peaceful location. Parking was available on street for free but check beforehand as some are restricted.
Friendly welcome by the owners but it was short lived. The room was as out dated as I've ever seen in a B&B and, after staying at another one earlier this year just round the corner this came no where near. I was visiting with my sister and we had a twin room which was on the ground floor and next to the dining room. The beds had no headboards so we were constantly losing our pillows down the back. The beds were ancient and creaked each time one of us rolled over. The room was clean and our beds were made freshly each day. The towels were more like flannels and very small ideal for drying yourself. There was complimentary shower gel and shampoo but no hand soap which I found bizarre. The toilet seat wasn't fixed and moved each time you sat on it and, unless you turned the shower water feed off the head leaked and dripped. The shower cubicle itself wasn't very big and my sister said she struggled shaving her legs in there.
The owners area was the other side of our room and, when someone rang the bell it was really loud in our room as well which was disturbing. The room above us had creaky floor boards and it sounded like there were elephants walking above us which was very annoying and far from relaxing. Breakfast was basic and only served between 8:30 and 9am which was the narrowest time I've ever encountered. When you are on holiday you want to relax and not feel you have to get up for a breakfast at such a time. Consequently, we missed one of the mornings. The hotel also said "no vacancies" on the outside but there were only 4 of us at breakfast one morning and 6 the other yet there were plenty of empty tables in there. I can't help thinking that they are winding the business down and that the care has long gone from the attention to detail. All in all, if you don't mind getting up for a restricted breakfast and a noisy place to stay (internally) then this is for you. For a relaxing weekend it is not good at all and you're better off staying at the other B&B I've reviewed a few months ago.
