Beautiful cottage. Comfortable clean had everything you needed for a wkend away with friends. Wonderful comfy beds added to a relaxed chill out with friends. 
Ideal location for shopping in town but not too far from the lift down to the beach.

First arriving you can't believe where this windmill is, but as you pull in to park the car it's just beautiful we was met by Andy and what an absolute diamond of a bloke he is he told us the story about the windmill ect and how he came to buy and the work that him and his family have put in to it and it shows we stayed in room 8 and it was beautiful very clean modern and massive Andy has also shown us around the family rooms for incase we want to return with the kids and we definitely will and the 2 and 3 bedroom rooms were just the same standard just beautiful definitely give this place a visit 

The wife and I booked this as a last minute get away and we were  lucky enough to get the Madeline suite, 
The windmill is situated in a cul de sac which is quite hard to find,  we had to drive around the block twice to find it but once you notice it you’ll never miss it again.
The windmill is absolutely stunning inside and out.
We met Andy when we arrived who was really friendly and helpful.
The suite itself was lovely, nicely decorated and set out with a living room area and kitchen on the first floor, a bedroom and on suite bathroom on the second floor.
Mind the drunk step on the stairs, it caught me out after a few drinks🤣
Very clean and tidy
TVs in the living area and bedroom. High speed Wi-Fi throughout 
We managed to park in the grounds and didn’t drive again until it was time to leave, everything we needed was ithin walking distance.
The town centre is only a 5 minute walk away, the beach a little bit further.
All in all, the windmill is a fantastic place, very peaceful and quiet.
Highly recommend it.
Hopefully we will be going back again for a few days next year.

Amazing accommodation with quality furnishing, superb breakfast with plenty of choice and top ingredients, stunning outlook over the courtyard on the evening, reception is also quality with the motorbikes ect
     Hosts are amazing nothing too much if you require any extras Andy is a star superb pr skills and a quality sense of humour to match, will definitely be returning to this superb establishment

A brilliant experience for my husband and,I and three of our grandchildren. Superb accommodation in the cottage with top of the range furnishings. We were made very welcome by the owners Nicola and Andy. We will definitely return as a couple to stay in the actual windmill. Lots to do and see in Yorkshire.

We stayed in The Windmill for 2 nights on 26 and 27 September 2022 in room 6.  What a wonderful B&B it is.  Nicola and Andy were fantastic hosts - full of useful information and tips.  Nicola provided a map of Scarborough and pointed out many of the attractions to see and do.  To us who had never been to Scarborough before, this was a great help.  The breakfast was perfect to start the day - a great choice was available too.  The room was all that we needed and Nicola was always on hand to provide anything that we needed.  The location is lovely and quiet and within easy walking distance of the beachfront.

Would we stay there again - God willing ABSOLUTELY - highly recommended.

We stayed in the three bed Cornflower Cottage One over August Bank Holiday. The cottage was so well equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need and so beautifully decorated with lots of thought and detail in each room. My little one also loved that she had her own special room just off the master bedroom. 

The Windmill itself is such a beautiful building and is nicely tucked away down a quiet street off the main road. Andy, Nicola, and their girls were wonderful hosts and on hand to help with anything from beach recommendations to takeaway menus. The location is great - in easy reach of the town and the attractions and near to shops and supermarkets. 

There's just such a lovely relaxed feeling about staying at The Windmill. The weather was lovely when we stayed and rather than going out for dinner, we spent the evenings sat in the courtyard with a takeaway and a glass of wine. It really was the perfect break and we've already booked again for next year.

Just returned from a great weekend with daughter,son-in-law and grandson.  Great welcome from Andy the owner and he and his,his wife Nicola were extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. In fact Nicola even contacted us to arrange returning our grandsons favourite toys which we had left behind. We stayed in Cornflower 1 self catering.  The accomadation was spotless and well appointed. The courtyard setting and the windmill itself were really charming and myself and my wife are hoping to return and stay in the windmill itself which has fantastic views over all of Scarborough. Can't fault the Windmill and would highly recommend it 

Wow total luxury ,self catering but better than most five star hotels ,the views are fabulous 360 degrees the sunrise and sunsets were awesome so peaceful and quiet if you only stay the one nite this has to be the place to stay .we’ve already booked for next year , the hosts are super friendly .A real bucket list place we just loved it and didn’t want to leave ..

We absolutely loved out stay at The Windmill. 

Everything was just right, and rooms were lovely and clean. 

Breakfast was perfectly tasty and just the right amount.

Fascinating to talk to Andy about the history of The Windmill and the journey they went on.

Good value for money.

We managed to bag the last parking space, which  was good, as we were glad to have the car close.

Lovely stay and great location

The Windmill is one of those places that you wish could be kept a secret! Nicola & Andy were great hosts and we found the accommodation very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was spot on and the on site parking is a massive  bonus. We shall certainly be returning next time we are visiting Scarborough but - SHUSH - don't tell anyone else!!!
