A wonderful cottage in great surroundings. A warm welcome.
Well equipped and very cosy and comfortable. Great views. We loved it and can see why people come back again and again. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Great places to eat nearby and many places to visit within easy reach.

A truly amazing find, a really  cosy cottage, very clean and fully equipped with all you will need, even a Christmas tree !  Nothing was overlooked. 
Set in beautiful gardens with a lake view we couldn’t ask for more.  Matt was  very welcoming and accommodating.  Thank you for a lovely stay we will most certainly return.

As soon as you arrive here you know your in for a wonderful time.The grounds are beautiful and look amazing even in the winter months and the welcome we got with Abby and Matt was just very welcoming and friendly.We had one of the cottages that sleep four which are lovely and are very hi spec and overlooks a beautiful lake and i have never stayed in a place where they have thought of everything and even a free pint of milk in the fridge waiting for you and complimentary biscuits, What a lovely touch.If you are  thinking of booking this do not hesitate as this place is pure paradise backed up with lovely hosts and we are going to re book as soon as possible.Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

I booked out the whole Little Norton Mill for close family and friends for a couple nights during my wedding weekend, a massive thank you to Matt and Abby for being so helpful in the run up and also once we were there, you were both so accommodating and everyone had such a brilliant time staying here!

Every apartment and cottage was really nicely furnished and decorated, I had the best nights sleeps I'd had in a very long time whilst staying there! The location is fantastic and the site is so beautiful and picturesque, we were fortunate enough to be getting ready for the wedding with the sun shining on the pond and watching the ducks go past! Even in the rain the next day the site felt really mystical and serene, it was honestly the perfect place to get ready before the wedding and I'm excited to go back there with my family! 

We actually went back to the Mill for some wedding photos which I'm so excited to see! It's such a beautiful location I'm sure they'll be lovely. 

Ozzy the cat was also a firm favourite 😻♥️

Fantastic property and walking distance to the pub!  The cat "Ozzy" was a 
friendly addition to the experience.  Well equipped accommodation with all the 
essentials to make it a comfortable stay.  Clean and  very comfortable! We will be back next year to spend some more time there.

The property was in a lovely quiet location, beautifully maintained and very comfortable. Great communication with owners Matt & Abby and very welcoming when we arrived. Location was perfect for exploring Somerset, we visited several National Trust places and the north coast neat Dunster. Lovely weekend away, would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Loved our stay at Little Norton Mill. Accommodation has everything  you need very comfy and cosy. Central to explore Somerset, Dorset and Devon without having to drive too far. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and went the extra mile by letting us stay an extra night to which helped us out so thank you. Would recommend staying here and would definitely return 😃

Lovely old converted Mill. Helpful friendly host. Our apartment was great. Walked round the grounds. All very nice with picturesque village and Ham Hill Country Park nearby. Ideal position for exploring the coast as well. Would definitely return! Thank you

Perfect Stay in A Magical Place!

Lovely stay

We were very happy with little Norton mill.It was very clean and tidy. The apartment was comfortable with everything you would need.Matt  was very helpful and told us everything we wanted to know. All in all we had a wonderful time. The grounds were very nice. Had a picnic in the garden. Highly recommended.

Arrived and greeted by Matt personally took us to accommodation which on first impressions was very nice but we asked for a room with a view no problem 10mins later we were unpacking and looking forward to a leisurely stay of 3 nights. Unfortunately we found it a little cold in the accommodation but again Matt was most helpful and it was sorted in 10mins and heating altered to suit our needs. My lovely wife was taken ill and we cut short the stay by one day regretfully, Matt was most helpful along with Abby and we will be going back in the summer of ‘23 hopefully, good value & a lovely location in Somerset.

The atmosphere around little Norton Mill was instantly warm and welcoming. The cottage soon felt like home especially when our unplanned dessert was lovely stewed apples from the orchard. Although their was nothing wrong with my cottage I was offered a swap after one night purely because it would put me a little closer to my sister. Had a lovely time exploring the village and surrounding area, feeding some tiny ponies and watching a kingfisher from my window. Would have extended our stay but unfortunately the mill was fully booked. Thank you Matt and Abbey for a a lovely stay.

Home from home but better.

Even on a dull, wet day in November we were very impressed when we saw the beautiful, well maintained buildings. Matt and Amy are very welcoming, friendly, helpful and hands on.  Amy took the time to show us to our cottage, explain a few basic things then left us to unpack. Our cottages are immaculate, well maintained and facing the lake which an ever changing view because of ducks, birds and the weather: kitchen is well equipped, decor is modern and fresh but still feels warm: all of the furniture, including the beds, is very comfortable: bed linen and towels are good quality. The garden is lovely to walk around any time of day with little touches around every corner including random seating, a ‘band stand’ with a table and benches (with a gorgeous view of the hill), apple trees and some smaller ponds. We walked into the village which is easily accessible, the residents are very friendly and the shop is well stocked with essentials: the Reading Room tea room is welcoming and does delicious takeaways and lunches. The only disappointment was a meal at the Lord Nelson, we tried to discuss it with a staff member but she wasn’t interested so we wouldn’t go back which is such a pity because the service was good, it was just the standard of the meal. This area has so many choices, if you don’t want to go out there is everything local so you don’t have to but if you want to go somewhere there is plenty to do. We have been here a week and enjoyed every single wet and windy minute in this little haven, next year’s return is already planned and will be booked asap to avoid disappointment. We would recommend Little Norton Mill without reservation or hesitation.

Perfect for any type of getaway, a little gem! 

We were looking for somewhere close to Martock and I found this little appartment 
It’s location was very close to where we wanted to visit and it looked very nice on the website
Well it was even more perfect in person set in wonderful grounds 
On arrival we were greeted by extremely friendly host Abby who showed us to our ground floor accommodation 
Inside was immaculate, well equipped. They had even left us fresh milk tea and coffee which was a lovely touch 
There is an open plan sitting room kitchen with everything you would need 
Bed room and bathroom again fully equipped with furnishings you would be happy to have at home. Everything was very nicely done
The property is set in stunning 7 acres which are available for you to explore from orchard trees full of fruit to ponds and the waters around the mill
We were very comfortable in the accommodation 
There are a few local pubs we went to The Nelson which was extremely friendly and welcoming 
Check out was very easy and Matt was  available for us to hand back keys in the morning and again very pleasant greeting when met at the door.
We will most definately be back again there’s so much more to do and see
