I have friends in Birmingham and as they have a small budget room I often stay their due to the low price and my need to be in Birmingham the next day, so I drive down the night before. I usually bring my own food and breakfast but I can eat it in my room and if I need the kitchen t warm some thing up, that is also not an issue!

Nice clean room, good for the price and pleasant host Helen who assisted in finding alternative accommodation for a 2nd night as was fully booked. Would definitely use again, convenient location for trains and bus and off street parking. Lovely surroundings.

I'm really surprised to see LL not getting a higher rating.
It is a trad B&B, in that it offers simple overnight accomodation at a competitive price.
Booking near my time of travel it cost less than a Prem Inn or Travail Lodge.
Location is excellent for NEC visits.
The rooms are very clean, have password protected WiFi. Some nice touches include, tea, coffee and a couple of choccy biscuits as well as soap and shampoo in the shower room. 
Optional cooked breakfast was made while I waited, and tasty.
The owner was friendly and did not mind making breakfast a little earlier than usual.

I decided to book for 1 night to save the extra stress of driving down the M6 next morning to a 10am appointment at the nearby Solihull Hospital. It was a very windy and rainy day when we arrived and were very warmly welcomed by Helen the B n B owner. We were then shown to our requested twin bed room over looking the front of the house n small private car park. The room was fairly large n had a large bay window which made the room nice n bright. The ensuite bathroom was quite small but compact with a nice shower a d had extra little touches such as sachets of shampoo n shower gel and 2 new white face flannels. Everything was spotlessly clean. There was also a kettle n tea n  coffee making facilities and a lovely selection of biscuits. The 32ìn freeview tv was perfect. A hairdryer was also present as was a small fridge. Two mins up the road there was a row of local shops which included a fish n chip shop, chinese and Indian restaurants with takeaway. Wine bar. Lovely bakery and a decent size Spar store and a nice takeaway sandwich shop where you could sit n have a coffee and a few other shops, so very handy. We bought fish n chips n Helen had set up a table in the dining room for us with salt n pepper n vinegar with the sauces to hand. We both had a good nights sleep and enjoyed our freshly made to order English breakfast with tea and toast.The breakfast menu also included all types of eggs also cooked to order.  There was also a variety of cereals n jams  available. Helen cannot do enough to make you feel welcome and is a lovely, friendly welcoming host. We had a most enjoyable stay and would def stay there again if in that area.

There were three adults stayed here for the Crufts weekend. It was only a 10 minute drive and had parking on the driveway at the front of the property. It’s was nice and quiet and had great comfy clean rooms. Breakfast was lovely with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Food was lovely and set us up for the day.  The owner is lovely a very friendly and genuine lady.  Would definitely stay again - thank you 😊

Had to visit Solihull for work so booked myself into this cosy little guest house. Really enjoyed the stay, friendly owners and the breakfast really filling and fast. Room was perfect size and the bed was really cosy :) if I ever have to come back this way I’d defiantly stay there again. 

I stayed with a friend overnight when attending a show at the NEC. Location is very convenient about 15 mins drive from the NEC (£10 in an Uber). 
Room was excellent - spacious, comfortable, excellent bathroom and perfect for a crash pad for the night. 
I was leaving at 6am the following morning for the airport and Helen organised some pain au chocolate so I could have something to eat before going - a nice touch. 
Would stay here again when back at NEC - cheaper and much better than an airport hotel.

A convenient B&B close to Olton railway station and for those walking along the Grand Union Canal.  Owner couldn't have been more welcoming.  Excellent twin room with good size bathroom.  All very clean and comfortable.  And a very good breakfast.

Pleased with our stay- Cosy room, comfy bed, clean, good WiFi, helpful hostess, nice area of the city, benefit of on-site parking, nice garden to the rear, 12 minutes from the airport! All round great for a nights stay.

Cosy room

Lovely lady runs this B&B. Breakfast very nice. Reason for 3 stars shower room tiny and shower either too hot or too cold. Fridge on top of wardrobe? Assumed worked.  old fashioned room but very clean. Very hot room had to open window. On main road so quite noisy.
