Amazing short trip away, accommodation exceed my expectations. Bed was really comfy. Accommodation was clean and very spacious. Was lovely to have separated dining area and fridge was really useful, also has hair dryer. Owner was lovely and helpful and let us store our bags after checkout until we got our later train back. If you go by car there is lots of parking. It's far enough from noise of skegness Town but only a couple of mins walk from sea front and shops. Was also near a lovely park. Thanks for the lovely stay, we will most definitely return.

Clearly not the ritzy but it has everything you need to make yor stay trouble free , clean tidy and frendly going back  soon , treet your self to the banger racing twice a week from  easter in ingermels bus or 15 minet drive

8 of us just stayed here for 4 nights. The rooms are so spacious. Makes such a lovely change to have a fridge and table and chairs in the room. The bathroom is also spacious. I have never slept so well as I did here lovely fresh clean bedding, very comfortable bed. Lovely to see proper plump pillows provided as well. Great location for seafront literally 5 minutes walk. Owner offered a warm welcome. Would highly recommend!

Downstairs room. Lovely beds. Clean tidy freshly painted with the added extras of toiletries towels washing up liquid cloths  tea towels. Mini fridge. Dining set. Just lovely. Friendly owner. Short walk to beach and shops. Made our stay and we will definitely be back. Just lovely

Stayed for one night in a twin room .  The bed was very comfortable, the room was nice and spacious as was the bathroom. 

Unfortunately the curtains let a lot of early morning light into the room so if you are a light sleeper you should take an eye mask with you. 

There is a very small carpark at the rear of the premises enough for 2 small cars but there is on street parking available if you can get a space there.

Overall it was a very pleasant and comfortable night.

Great location close to pier.Room was clean. Bed very comfy. Complimemtary tea/coffee. Towels could have been softer and bigger. Only issue was we could hear every door opening/closing including during the night( wear ear plugs)

Fab!

Arrived at  sunnyside for midday shown to our room and basically left to our own devices. Could come and go as we liked so pleasant stay. Shower in room wasn't great and towels rough. Coffee making facilities in room and fridge so all you needed. Room was warm not too hot. Bed wasn't uncomfortable but adequate. Sunnyside is in a great location two minutes walk to the  the pier where you can get all day breakfast. All in all not a bad stay very relaxing and near to all amenities. 

Near to seafront

Bathroom was full of mould in shower  the shower leaked leaving big puddles on floor causing damage too floor boards as lino had come up from previous leaks . On my last night I arrived back to none of my lights working causing me to stub toe and rip nail off big toe . I rung the number provided to contact someone to no one answering the next morning when was light so didn't need lights I went for shower and no hot water from shower once again tried to contact someone and no answer again . This is not acceptable as I paid my money and didn't get light or shower on last day plus an injury sustained from these faults 

Will not be returning

When we entered the hotel and our room we were greeted with a horrid smell, We opened all of the windows and went for a walk. When we came back the smell was still there. We contacted the host and she sent a cleaner up with air freshener. This only masked the problem. It was the smell of sick that had not been cleaned properly and it stank horrid !! We had to take the mattress off the bed and move it into the lounge on the floor where the smell was not as strong, We could still smell it tho. We asked to change rooms and cheryl the host said they were all booked up, We asked for a refund and she said yes she would refund our money but we had to get in touch with booking.com. We did ! booking.com chased cheryl for days on end without any response from her. She was ignoring them, and us.. Because she did not want to give a refund. We had to sleep on a mattress on the floor and had no sleep at all.... Don't ever stay at this place. Horrible host, Stank in our room, No refund, ignoring us. Never again !!! 0 stars for sunnyside ....



A host that lie's/ignores and offers no refund when its there mistake. Please ovoid this hotel.

We booked here as was visiting the area & wished to stay overnight. The location was ideal & reviews were good. 
However .... We used the self check in using the code given. On entering our room we were greeted by an absolutely terrible smell. ( It took our breath away!) We opened all the windows as we thought it was the drains. We sprayed some perfume/ deodorant around & went out for a few hours. I have health problems & needed to have a lay down on return. The smell was still horrendous. We noticed that the strong awful  smell was coming from the carpet at the side of the bed (& smelt like stale dried vomit). It was that bad  we contacted the proprietor & asked if any other rooms available & why. She said no there wasn't, but would send one of her staff up with some air freshener! It was that bad, it was making (us) feel sick.  My partner moved the mattress from the bed into the large kitchenette area so I could rest a while. A staff member popped up & sprayed around, but this only masked the smell for about 10 mins.  We had already paid for the room, & contacted the owner with our concerns. She never apologised, but did  offer us a refund. After we'd left we did contact the owner again, saying yes we would accept the refund after all the inconvenience caused. She was very hostile & stated we need to contact the booking agent . We proceeded to do so. After several messages/ texts from both us & the booking agent no reply was ever received nor refund given. The staff at this establishment don't seem to care, just happy to take your money & provide a room which smelt of dried vomit, complete with a pair of someones dirty socks at the side of the bed & a used soap bar in the shower! 
Absolutely avoid this place at all costs. Utterly disgusting service
