WOW . What a place. A lovely camp site with great amenities. The showers are beautiful and so clean. Lovely park. The main thing was the owners, and staff. Jackie and Tony went above and beyond and were so friendly. Nothing is to much trouble. The food at Tony’s tavern was amazing. The alcohol was great aswell with a brilliant range of different drinks. I don’t want to go to any other campsite now. Only this one. Will be back very soon. 

What holidaying in Cornwall should be. The place is beautiful, plenty of room and the owners are incredible and extremely friendly. The personal touches, even down to the toilets really makes the place. Never seen such glamorous toilets, sinks and showering facilities. We simply can’t recommend it enough. 

A fantastic visit - a beautiful location, B&B and camp site. Facilities and service first class, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our pitch was perfect and you could not wish for more. Look out for the dark skies on clear evenings - the stars were amazing!

Tony’s Tavern quickly became an early evening favourite, with great food (fresh local produce) and a great selection of local ales, perfect for wind down after busy days at the beaches, local NT and English Heritage local sites.

With the best showers (hot and meticulously clean) setting you up for the next days activities. 

Additional benefit of being just 3 miles from the local Park Run at Penrose 🏃🏼‍♂️

Just got home from a fabulous 10 days stay at This fabulous campsite. We were on pitch 42 opposite the park and showers. Huge pitch with tap, drain and electric. The showers were all quirky and unique. Amazing phone signal but didn’t need it as the free wifi was excellent !! The owners and staff were helpful and friendly and Tony’s tavern was an great added bonus. Ice cream van calls on site about 5.30 which was a nice surprise. Location was perfect for exploring Cornwall but with the beautiful  Praa sands and quaint Porthleven on the doorstep you don’t have to travel far!! Will definitely be returning and recommending.

Just back home from a fantastic two weeks spent at the camp site. One of the friendliest and well kept sites we’ve ever stayed at. 

Large fully serviced pitches meant we were well spread out. 

An excellent bar made it even nicer with a few local pubs in easy walking distance and well situated for day visits to many Cornish attractions.

Three older chaps on cycle route around Cornwall slunk into Elysian Fields after a nightmare day pushing bikes over the moors followed by a deluge of biblical proportions. The local postie helped us on our way where his sister was a manager. The owner could not have been more helpful, offering to wash and dry our filthy gear and the accommodation was first class. Would go out of our way to stay there again. Thanks

We were wet and muddy after a day cycling off-road, the owner, Jackie, was very welcoming and helpful from the 1st moment. Beautifully appointed accommodation and superb breakfast. Not cheap, but well  worth the money. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Just spent a week at Elysian fields with my mum.  Jackie and her staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.  The rooms were clean and bright and had everything we needed.  There was a great choice at breakfast and the food was freshly cooked, hot and delicious.   We will definitely be back in the future. Jackie is a wonderful host and very kindly fitted myself and my daughter in at the last minute, as we had to return to Cornwall to collect our dog's ashes who very sadly had to be put to sleep whilst on holiday in the area a few weeks ago. The bed and breakfast was lovely, light and airy and had a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing nature about it. The continental breakfast  was perfectly ample for us. We also enjoyed a vegetarian meal at the onsite tavern which was delicious. We would gladly stay here again and I would recommend it to anyone.    

Lovely dog friendly place we stayed in the bnb and would come back and try the camping as it was so well done. Tech room was great, comfortable clean with nice touches Lovely tavern for food, really friendly people and well thought out.

We have literally just left this little gem of a B&B and were very sad to do so! It is very clean, very comfortable and Debbie goes above & beyond to make you feel at home. Breakfasts were lovely & plentiful ! Will definitely return next year! Thank you for your hospitality xx

Lovely little Gem!!

Spotlessly clean room. No hairs in the bed. No stains. Carpet clean. Thoughtful touches E.g chocolates, sewing kit, shoe polish. Room was lovely and spacious. Quiet at night. 

Breakfast is self serve continental with plenty to choose from. Gluten free options available. 

We had very little contact with the owner/staff which is just how we like it. 

We can’t see why this place is not 4 star as it’s nicer than some 4 star accommodation. Not sure what the criteria is? Maybe lack of cooked breakfast?

Excellent stay

This is an excellent place, excellent host. Definitely would recommend people to  stay here. Cornwall needs more places like this, more hosts like her. Can't recommend staying here enough. Wonderful location. Great food. Great atmosphere.
