Clarence House

I booked at Clarence house this year for Mrs Davies & I on our wedding anniversary, it's been a long lockdown here in Wales. We like Shanklin but this place was a new location for us but from the start and our first communication with Ros we were made to feel like very welcome old friends. Parking is plentiful on the road outside Clarence House so no issues there, we parked up, entered the gate code and made our way to The Cottage at Clarence House. First impressions? Location is fantastic for Mrs Davies and I, we tend to do a lot of walking and the coastal path is just across the road. The accommodation is very clean and well equipped with everything you need for a few days self catering, a nice bonus was the supply of half a dozen free range eggs (very nice they were too). The bathroom housed one of the best showers I've ever taken, hot and almost powerful enough to pin you to the door. The heated towel rail is a nice touch, it's good to have a warm towel to wrap yourself in after your shower. The lounge/diner has a breakfast bar and all the necessary kitchen equipment, a tv and a bed settee, nice for relaxing. The bedroom, comfortable, and again very clean, with crisp white bedding, very nice. The bedroom has French doors at the end which leads to a decked area that's exclusively for the use of the cottage, folding chairs and a table here in a very quiet, peaceful garden completed the scene. It's a shame that we didn't get to meet Ros personally (strange times we're living in) but we'll be back soon and already looking forward to it.
