Fairfield House

We are a group of 8 friends who have just stayed at Fairfield Hse. We had a fabulous time. The house is extremely spacious. The 6 bedrooms meant we all had our own bed to sleep In, plus en suite bathrooms meant no queues for the shower. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with high standard cook ware. (Non stick for ommelettes) We also had a lovely welcome pack. There is a hot tub, on the small side, but very warm and a Sauna. The local area has all you would want. 3 local pubs and we would highly recommend the Masons Arms for Sunday lunch! A fabulous Indian restaurant for takeaways and a co-op. There are also some lovely walks around. We purchased a local walking book (from the post office for a couple of pounds, and proceeds go to the local foodbank) it was very informative and worth it fir local knowledge, all from the doorstep of the house. Shruti, the owner made sure our stay was perfect for us. She was always on hand to answer any questions etc. For large groups this is perfect.
