Lovely  hotel would recommend  this hotel.

The hotel was welcoming, relaxed and was extremely happy to find we had a room with a sea view.Amazing time in the Clayton Hotel.

Lovely. Quiet end of the promenade. Near everything you need.

Hotel has its own unique charm.Staff are attentive and friendly.Good ambience, had a room sea front.. lovely view to look at ♥️It took a while to look for a free parking space. Very limited space Otherwise wise, it was a beautiful stay ,room was clean, breakfast freshly cooked. Will definitely book again.

While in the area needing a bed for the night we chanced upon the Clayton , great value for money, lovely clean place and super friendly staff. Would happily stay again. 👍

Restful getaway

Amazing staff, super helpful. Breakfast included was well prepared and tated great. Facilities were great. Down side room 30 single room very small and clostraphobic would not recommend and would opt for a larger room nect time. Exterior looks a bit dated and drab. Overall I would still recomend for a couple of nights in Redcar just avoid the single rooms.

Great staff make the stay worth while

Had a lovely stay from start to finish.  Absolutely lovely welcome and even helped us with a later checkout.  Staff are lovely and friendly.  The breakfast was fab.  Lots of it cooked fresh.  We had a view of the seafront, which was an added bonus.  Would definitely recommend booking here for a stay.  Thank you everyone x x.

Lovely stay

Nice Hotel Check in was easy. Not Like Premier in which i was not allowed to check in. Room was a single room Alright for a single Nice Bathroom which was quite large for room of this size the Bathroom was clean and the shower worked and with hot water. The One thing The Toilet seat would not stay up. if this could be solved that would be good for other guests. The Bed was clean and i did not have to use the Dust mite spray or go and buy another Mattress Proctor to use. Breakfast was Good choice of 4 Cereals, Fruit Juices Variety of tea bags and Coffee, A choice of Hot Breakfast, i went for the small cooked Breakfast. which was alright, Maybe the baked Beans could of been hotter Always a problem in any hotel.. White or brown toast with thick bread Hooray not the thin bread some places give you. And the toaster did perfect toast with putting the bread in on one cycle.. So I would stay here again. And the staff were nice. And Nice Location of hotel. and about 15 min walk from railway Station.

Nice Stay. In above average Hotel.

We stayed in a room with a side sea view, which was lovely.  Owner and housekeeping very friendly and room lovely and clean.  An enjoyable stay over the Easter break.
Travelled about to Saltburn & Whitby but nights spent in Redcar.  Nice Thai meal one evening and friendly locals in the pubs we visited

Lovely People & Hotel

Amazing! What a great find. Absolute value for money. The staff were brilliant and super friendly. Food was amazing, quick service and delicious, with great prices. We stayed on the ground floor, sea view room. It was huge, clean and the bathroom was incredible. Not one bad word to say about our stay! Great location on the seafront and a few mins walk down to the main part of the high street. Amazing experience

Highly recommend!

Easily one of the best places I have stayed. Went for relaxing break with my daughters, and I cannot find fault with anything. Every member of staff we had contact with was lovely friendly helpful. The food was home cooked and delicious that included the breakfast that was cooked to order and came exactly how you asked for it. We had the deluxe room on ground floor it certainly lived up to the name deluxe. So spacious so much room for clothes etc unlike many where u have 2 drawers. The bathroom was amazing with a shower so roomy and choice of shower heads. 
As if all this wasn’t enough it is definitely the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in. Add free Wi-Fi even in the rooms and flat screen tv to mix as well as great location close to everything. 
We had a fabulous weekend and will 100% be returning.

Relaxing break

This hotel is immaculately clean.
We stayed for 5 nights in one of the recently refurbished courtyard rooms so there was no view.  You can request sea view rooms if you wish.   The courtyard is a lovely paved area with tubs of spring flowers.  Our room was decorated really tastefully  with a fabulous ceiling to floor mural of Redcar at sunrise on the main wall.  The carpets are beautifully soft and the bed is massive and very comfortable.  The walk in rainfall shower is huge.  Breakfast was very tasty with a good selection of cooked food cooked to order, no luke warm buffet!  It really sets you up for the day.  The toaster is the most efficient I have ever come across, toasted quickly and evenly, not like others where you have to put the bread through a couple of times.  Check in was very smooth and simple, everyone we spoke to was friendly and polite.  Could not fault our stay at all.  We will definitely stay here again next time we visit family in the area.

Excellent stay.

Great little family run, no frills  hotel. Very clean and comfortable. 
The room I had was a single but plenty of space and the bed was comfortable. As a solo traveller I felt very safe here.
Nice cosy little bar with a good selection of drink.  They also serve dinner in the early evening and the food was home made and very tasty.
Breakfast was lovely with a great choice.
The car park is very small but there is plenty of roadside parking which is free from 6pm to 8am which is more than ample for an overnight stay.

Great comfortable Hotel

1st point - brilliantly dog friendly.. beautiful views and excellent location for beach and town. Rooms clean, staff were Incredible and as friendly as you'd expect from northeast and esp redca folk. We brought our friends here who are from USA and they loved every minutes. Breakfast was superb. Only slight negative was shower was a dribble but otherwise book it now.. well worth a trip..
