We have just enjoyed a 3 night stay at this conveniently located B&B. Julie is the perfect host and nothing was too much for her, the breakfast was excellent. Would recommend for anyone wanting to explore the North Yorkshire coast, it also benefits from a bus stop right outside and a pub serving good food across the road. Looking forward to a return visit.

Julie is a wonderful host.
Fantastic comfy bed, bath robes, plenty of towels, Molton Brown toiletries, lovely hot shower, TCMF in room and fresh milk in the fridge on the landing.
Fantastic brekky (pre order 👍🏼🤩).
Bus stop right outside with links to Whitby/saltburn/....right up to Middlesbrough.
We used the Tiger Inn across the road both nights for our dinner (fab).
It's on a main road, but we didnt hear traffic at all during the night....just a couple of owls ❤️.
Free parking in the drive.
I highly recommended this place!!! Just great for walking/visiting nearby towns/coastal areas.

Wow wow wow ! Stunning views in a great location,  fantastic accommodation, amazing hosts! What more could you want?!
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left,  nothing was too much trouble! The breakfast was delicious and made sure we had a great start to each day!

We had a lovely, relaxing stau at this awesome little B&B. Julie and Ian are extremely friendly and super lovely. 
The rooms are gorgeous, the beds are super comfortable and the breakfast was so nice.

My partner and I were up for Whitby Goth weekend and we found this place last minute when our previous accommodation had let us down. 

We stopped an extra night to make up for the day lost in the stressful circumstances. 

Bonus the black labradors are lovely.

Amazing facilities, close to everywhere and brilliant breakfast, top quality.  This lovely couple quite literally saved us from sleeping in our car after being let down badly by our original booking.Yorkshire hospitality at its finest. So helpful and kind.  Really knowledgeable about places to visit and places to eat also. Thanks you, you saved our holiday and we can’t thank you enough.  We will definitely be coming back.  X

We had a brilliant stay at Townend Farm B&B. Lovely room and en suite with perfect attention to detail. The breakfast was cooked to a high standard with fresh ingredients. The owners went above and beyond to ensure we had everything needed for our stay. We highly recommend staying there and hope to be able to stay many more times ourselves.

Such a wonderful welcome from Julie when we arrived.  She showed us to our beautiful room which was spacious, very comfortable and had stunning views.   The breakfast was delicious, very filling and a great choice to suit everyone tastes.  Julie, with her wonderful smile each morning, is the font of all knowledge on the area and will happily share information on places to visit, how to get there (even providing us with bus timetables!) Buses stop just outside the B&B. Townend B&B is ideally situated for easy access to the East Coast and the moors.  We enjoyed our three day stay tremendously.  We highly recommend this delightful B&B, you will not be disappointed.  Thank you Julie, you really go above and beyond to make sure everything is just perfect.    Sandra and David. 

Wonderful from beginning to end, booked direct on the website, responsive, helpful communication, greeted warmly, everything explained. Lovely room, with beautiful views , comfy beds, great shower and Julie is the best host; friendly, providing local information and points of interest. Best weekend break by far- wonderful hosts and location

We stayed here with friends for two nights. What a little gem. Julie could not do enough for us. The rooms were very well equipped from fresh milk in the fridge to the Moulton Brown toiletries. We were met with the warmest of welcomes and shown to our rooms which were absolutely spotlessly clean, lovely decorated and very well stocked with a good choice of tea and coffee and fresh milk in the fridge. We were asked to choose our cooked breakfast the night before which was no problem at all and were greeted with a long list of cereals and fruit to start in the morning on arrival at the dining room. The cooked breakfast arrived in no time at all and was lovely and fresh especially the eggs from their own chickens. The second morning Julie had remembered what juices and drinks we had and the table was already set with them including the right sauce for each guest, a big pot of tea and a small glass of water for my friend who had asked for water to take tablets the day before. Such a lovely touch. Bed linen was lovely, a wide choice of pillows for the bed and the towels were beautiful soft bath sheets. There really was nothing that could have improved our stay here and would highly recommend it. We would definitely stay here again when we travel to that neck of the woods.

Lovely B and B. Julie is so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The room was beautiful and the bed was really comfy. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice and the best sausages ever. Really recommend this place if you’re looking for something to explore near Whitby and other coastal towns it’s a great choice.
