Perfect location and great clean room with nice touches, no issues at all. 

Friendly hosts, would definitely return next time in the area.

Visiting family and friends in Devon, so happy to have found The Rosemont: comfortable, pretty, welcoming, immaculate, and delicious breakfasts.  Nick was so helpful at managing a variety of our requests.

We have visited the Rosemont quite a few times over the past 18 months. We are always welcomed with homemade cake and the fridge in the room with water and milk (love the tiny milk bottles!) is a lovely touch which enables you to make a hot drink to go with the fabulous treats.
Breakfast are quite substantial and will set you up for whatever the day has to offer. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the handmade soaps are devine. Definitely worth a visit and far nicer than staying in a faceless hotel.

Wonderful welcome from Heather and Nick to a beautiful Edwardian home from home ! From an immaculately presented en suite room, through very filling, fresh  breakfast, to a marvellous homemade lemon and lime drizzle cake !!  What more could you wish for ?  Our wee Jack Russell was made very welcome too by little Grace and young Archie . Not our first visit to Yelverton, but our first to The Rosemont. Happy to say "We will be back! Thank you for a lovely stay!"" 

Our first tripto the area - we picked the right place to stay for a visit to Dartmoor! Variety of options at breakfast - including eggs - and not everyone can make poached eggs like Nick! Quiet at all hours - privacy, and service when you need it! Flat screen TV, good wifi connections.  Our room was lovely - with an extra single bed - could have accomodated 3 people. Within easy walking distance to groceries, post office, and pub! Dogs are truly welcomed. Kudos to Heather and Nick for making our stay great!

We stayed here for 6 nights in June and couldn't fault it. Lovely comfortable room and bed, excellent breakfast and home made cake at the end of the day. Nick and Heather couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and overall it had a lovely family atmosphere. Looking forward to going back at some point.

We recently returned from a lovely weekend at the Rosemont. Although the weather was patchy on Dartmoor over the bank holiday, Nick and Heather (and Grace and Archie) offered a very warm welcome, a cosy room and a very hearty breakfast to energise us for the day. 

Yelverton is very well situated for day trips to Plymouth, Princetown and Tavistock. We enjoyed the rainy day in Plymouth and the Aquarium and harbour, and on the better day had a super walk from the visitor centre in Princetown, rounded off with cream tea in Tavistock. 

The B&B is a grand old building. Our room was very well furnished for the family, and the bathroom and main bedroom were spotlessly clean. Nicks breakfasts are well worth getting up for, with cafetiere coffee and ample hot and cold options.

Visited the Rosemont for three nights at the beginning of April and will definitely make a return visit.

Room was clean and tidy and had a fridge. Nick kept us supplied with fresh milk- so much nicer than you UHT you normally have to endure. 

Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice and well prepared. The bacon was especially good. Complimentary cream tea was delicious, as were the wonderful brownies provided by Nicks wife for guests to help themselves to.

Quiet location but nearby shops for anything we needed. Plymouth and Tavistock within easy driving distance. The Cornish Arms in Tavistock serve lovely food.

Rosemont was very good value for money and we are looking forward to a return visit in the future.

Spent 4 nights in a quiet comfortable room with excellent breakfast every morning and delicious cake to come home to every day. Nick Heather and kids are wonderful hosts. Easy to get to many places on Dartmoor for walking and good pub with food across the road.

I was so impressed with this place. It felt more like a 2 hotel than a guest house. This place was spotlessly clean, complete with a fridge, a chocolate truffle on the beds, compllimentary sweets among other things, I really liked this place. The ownder was professional, highly accomodating and knows exactly what his customers needs. The towers toilet etc all clean fit for purpose. The building from the outside is actually quite pretty, the internet is a bit slow at times but more than usable. Breakfast was gorgeous really enjoyed it.,Definately worth a 5 star review
