We stayed for 4 nights at Higher Chapel Farm and absolutely loved it. 
Jean was so welcoming , friendly and gave us the best tips on were to travel around Cornwall. 
Room was clean and cosy. 
Breakfast was amazing , cooked each morning and laid out beautifully in the dining room. 
Would highly recommend! 
Can’t wait to return.

We have just spent 2 nights here, it's lovely, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable beds, Jean the host is lovely and makes an amazing breakfast. Very convenient for visiting lots of different places. We will definitely be back again

We visited Higher Chapel Farm as a weekend getaway. My other half is currently based in Plymouth and I’m four hours away! Finding something reasonably priced at the moment is quite hard but this did not disappoint! Easy to find and welcomed straight away. Plenty of parking and plenty of space to relax. Nothing was too much trouble and whilst separated by a “private” signed door from the main home, Jean was very happy to for guests to knock and would accommodate at any time of day. Breakfast was good and a good selection. We were cheeky and asked for a later breakfast one day and again, not too much trouble. It was very easy to feel completely relaxed here and Jean was very flexible with our requests. Bed was super comfy and slept really well too! Landscape - amazing and two lovely dogs who were a lovely welcome. Jean also has a lot of local knowledge and recommended a number of places (and pubs!) to visit. They didn’t disappoint, even though it rained. I would highly recommend this b&b for an honest, tranquil and traditional b&b experience. We will certainly use again whilst our circumstances mean a fair bit of distance between us!

My husband and I stayed at Higherchapel Farm for our 10th wedding anniversary, and we were not disappointed. Jean was very warm and welcoming and even left us a lovely cream tea on our arrival. Set right on the river Tamar couldn't be a more beautiful setting. Breakfast was lovely and Jean was very helpful in recommending places to visit. Will definitely be returning, and have already recommended to family. Fantastic stay!

This is a wee gem of a B&B Jean your host is very accomadating and will do anything to make your stay even more of a fantastic experience, it is a working farm but so so quiet and peaceful if you are looking for a taste of the quiet peaceful life look no further. As for breakfast say no more your belly will be full and nothing is any hassle for your host Jean,  who will make sure your day starts well. Our room was lovely clean ensuite, roomy and honestly haven't had such a deep sleep in a long long time.
Jean is also full of local knowledge and directed us to some lovely hidden gems, she is also a wonderful backer but shy to amidt, please make this your stop in Cornwall you will not regret it, thanks Jean and Willis it was fantastic 

We have stayed both in the B&B and the Pod.
Jean is a great hostess, friendly, helpful and a great cook. There is always a yummy homemade treat waiting for us. 
The B&B feels just like staying with family, with the use of the large lounge and a great sized room with en-suite.
The Pod is a spacious luxury wooden cabin. It has everything you could want for a self catering break. 
We always enjoy staying here. A great night's sleep is  guaranteed due to the peaceful setting. We will be back.

Very friendly, knowledgable and accommodating host. Clean and spacious room with en-suite, excellent breakfast and facilities, secluded and picturesque location with great views. Would definitely like to return.

We stayed here for four nights with our two young kids (2 and 4) and we had such a great stay. Jean was an amazing host who went out of her way to make us feel at home - she found some toys that belonged to her boys for the kids to play with (which they loved) and she let us use a bbq during our stay. She also recommended some fantastic local places to see and places to eat and get meat for the bbq. Her breakfasts were hands down the best breakfasts we have ever had! Fresh fruit, yoghurts, freshly baked pastries (croissants, scones or pancakes), then a full English! We were never hungry for lunch!

The location was so tranquil and relaxing - slept better than we had for years and awoke to the sound of cows and sheep. 

Would definitely recommend and hope to return soon!

We stayed in Chapel Pod on Higher Chapel Farm. It was a self catering luxury clamping style holiday. It was warm comfortable, clean and very well equipped a real home from home. It even had underfloor heating!  The owners Jean,Willis and their daughter was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. We were treated to a cream tea and home made apple juice left in the fridge for us a really nice gesture to start our holiday. The weather was wet for most of the week but we still enjoyed walks with our dog and trips to the local towns. It was quiet peaceful and the variety of birds we watched from the kitchen window were lovely. All in all a real gem of a find that I can highly recommend.

We had a 5 nights stay at Jean's wonderful quiet place. No sounds except for the cows, sheep and birds in the area. A great place if you want peace and quiet. We had 2 ensuite bedrooms and everything you need. A grand living room we could use as well. Jean cooks the most amazing breakfasts up to order and her homemade bread is scrumptious. She surprised us every day with her lovely homemade cakes, so good! We rented her canoos to go up the river Tamar which was breathtaking, so quiet as well and tranquil. She gave us great advise what to see and where to eat. The Who'd have thought it pub is in walking distance and very recommendable. We came to relax and rest at Jean's place and can very much recommend it! Her pod is adorable too! Jean is a lovely and helpful host. We hope to return one day!

Wonderful stay!

Our host, Jean, was wonderfully welcoming. The rooms and facilities were sparkly clean and well appointed.
Higher Chapel Farm is well positioned for touring the area and visiting great sites, eg Heligan gardens.
Our breakfast was excellent, as was the home made cake that greeted us on arrival.
Highly recommended.

Fabulous breakfast

Went on a weekend trip down to the amazing glamping pod. We we’re so impressed with the range of ammenties and the warmth of our welcome. Our host was so helpful and attentive. The breakfast that was delivered to us was also delicious! The location was peaceful and relaxing. We felt so rested after our stay. Would highly recommend this lovely place.
