Lakeside Park Hotel & Spa

Stayed here with my Husband, had a lovely time, the hotel is a little dated, but the service was great and it was spotless! Was welcomed by Zoe on reception who checked us in quickly as we was running late for a booking we had else where, she answered all our questions and even pointed us in the right direction for places we could visit while on the lovely isle of wight. She went above and beyond helping us. Our room was very clean and had a lovely view of the lake, we ate in the hotel on our first evening which Zoe helped book on our arrival, all staff was great and helpful as i have a few diet requirements. Hotel had a good vibe about it. it was full but it was loud. We headed to the spa the following morning, and was again greeted by Zoe on the spa desk which was a nice suprise as again we had lots of questions about treatments and the spa its self and there wasn't anything she did not know, she even managed to squeeze us in for last minute treatments with Jackie, who was so lovely, my husband doesn't normally like massage but she made him feel so at ease and comftable! The spa was just what we needed, so peaceful with lots of different things to do, it did get busier towards late morning but was still very enjoyable. Laura on the main desk was also very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Over all we had a lovely stay and the staff are happy and polite. We will be returning, maybe even again this year! Only slight niggle was the weeds out side of the entrance.
