Only wish it could have been more the two rooms we had were totally separate from the house
set in a lovely garden the rooms had everything you needed and more and all so very clean.
Mike and Shirley were the perfect hosts so warm and welcoming they even asked what time we 
wanted breakfast so there was no rushing about and breakfast was so filling lasting us all day
Mike impressed our friend by having marmite on the table for his toast but could only have one
Slice due to the large breakfast. Couldn't praise these two enough they really know how to treat
people including Jack (the dog) got involved he was delightful. 

Mike and Shirley are such brilliant hosts,the chalets haseverything you require and are very clean
Mike’s breakfast will keep you going all day,couldn’t praise it any more and would strongly recommend to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

This is a lovely place in an ideal location. The room is very private in a separate chalet and very clean and tidy. The breakfast is amazing and is cooked to order so very hot and fresh. There is parking and it only takes about 15minutes to walk into town. I would highly recommend.

We stayed for one night and are so glad we chose here rather than the nearby Premier Inn. The two rooms are located in the garden of the owners' house and are very Covid secure with their own entrances. Our twin room was spotlessly clean with a large shower room, tea and coffee making facilities and free wi-fi. We even had an outside sitting area in the lovely garden. There was also secure off street parking. Breakfast was lovely with cereal, fresh orange juice, and a huge full cooked breakfast with lots of coffee/tea. Mike and Shirl are friendly, extremely helpful and work incredibly hard to ensure guests are well looked after. All this and significantly cheaper than the Premier Inn. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. 

Checked out this morning at 10am and if I’m honest I wish we could have stayed longer. From the minute we arrived Mike & his lovely wife (who I’m sorry I never got the name of) made us feel extremely welcome and comfortable after our long drive down from Manchester. 

We arrived late, around 9:15pm. This was no issue. We were given a spare key for extra convenience due to my partner working and not knowing who would be back first. The room was extremely clean and had everything you’d need for a simple stay. There was plenty of space for clothes. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar, biscuits all provided with fresh glasses, mugs, saucers, spoons, a kettle and a water jug. There was a hairdryer provided as well as a fan, which in this heat recently was an added pleasure!

We were asked what time we’d like breakfast so it could be prepared in advance and prevent waiting times. Continental and cooked breakfast options were available and they were more than happy to work with any dietary requests without a fuss. 

We would happily revisit again if travelling to the area in the future. Your effort to get to know the guest made us feel at home, even away from home.

Visited for one night during a walk from Salisbury to Christchurch. Well situated for the walk and the centre of town was within easy walking - it was also very close to the David Lloyd club which was great as we are members and so could pop in for a swim and sauna. There is a Lidl just over the road and so convenient for supplies. The room was conveniently located in a separate building to the house. The room was warm and very clean. Beds were very comfy. We had a very good full English breakfast in the morning which set us up well for the day. The owners were friendly and made everything easy for us. 

Lovely little room with own access off road parking ,amazing breakfast and clean accommodation which is spotless the owners are a lovely hospitable couple who are chatty and helpful don't moan it's not close to Bournemouth or elsewhere it is where it is and you know this when you book personally I think if your driving it's close enough to other places HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Dunroaming is a great place to stay. Very friendly hosts, lovely rooms and an amazing breakfast, Secure off- street parking. This is definitely the best place to stay for anyone visiting the New Forest and surrounding areas.

Lost count of the amount of times we have stayed here....won't stay anywhere else now.  Rooms spotless... comfy...cosey...warm and private.  Secure free parking....breakfast cooked to perfection they don't skimp on anything enough to feed an army.  Thanks again Shirley and Mike.
