I stayed here as the hotel I was booked in was under going work, I have to admit Dave did seem off to start with and wanted the money as soon as I went in, staying alone somewhere I had never been before was abit unnerving, the room was a nice size even though I had view of the smoking area lol but I have to admit as the week went on I loved been there got chatting to Dave properly and his lovely wife Linda and had a really good time, plus Linda's cooking is amazing!!! The dining area is really nice and comfortable plus so close to Redcar town

Hard to write a review

I stayed here for one night in June and at the time it was cheapest hotel at £25 at night, and no wonder. Knocked on the door and was met by a woman, no greeting, no mention of what time breakfast was, no information about parking permits. She said there was no need for a parking permit because the "inspectors don't bother coming round on weekends" but I insisted as I didn't want to take the risk and be fined! I was then handed the keys and permit then she disappeared. 

The room was decent enough and clean, although was was a funny moldy smell coming for somewhere. Beds were comfy and bathroom was clean, shower was decent. After a nightout I came back to the B n B at 2am and the door required a push just to open it, no key required. Good to know just about anyone can walk in!

Didn't bother with breakfast, apparently it's served from 7am til 10am and I didn't see this "Dave" character reviewers have mentioned. The hotel seemed like it had no other patrons, now I understand why. Avoid this place and go somewhere else.

Shocking Hotel, it's filthy. We paid £65 for ROOM ONLY with Booking . com. They shouldn't have this Hotel on their site. It is truly awful, please stay away...for £65 i was expecting at least a little bit class or comfort. £20 would be overcharging IMO. Buy a tent and sleep on the Beach with the money, you'll thank me for it later. I'm really lost for words at how bad this place is. Read my other reviews, i'm not a serial complainer at all. Supposed to have had a refurb but not sure where, i certainly couldn't see anywhere that has been updated or modern, it was tired and scruffy and very unclean, it was like a doss house, I hardly slept for the noise.
Thump, thump, thump...the disco was on downstairs until 2.00am in the morning ( Friday and Saturday) Second floor and you could still hear it. I could start a description on rooms, clientel of the bar downstairs, but there aren't enough words.
Oh! and there's 3 flights of stairs to the rooms, so heed my warning if you have children or are disabled. You have to park 100 yards away from the Hotel in a public car park so be wary. There is no onsite parking as advertised. 
I'll stop here, i could go on about this scruffy Hotel and if i stop one person from booking it i will have done them a favour. Stay away, or sleep on the Beach or your car, anywhere but here.

Worst Hotel i've stayed in, ever, please find elsewhere.

Booked in advance over the internet for Saturday 6th September.. Arrived about an hour earlier than we were expected 8pm ish only to be turned away.. The lady who answered the door told us her internet had been down for sometime so we were not booked in and she was fully booked but she could maybe recommend a few other places to try?  so came back home to York..Still waiting for a refund too..looking at the other reviews I wouldn't even bother with this place!!!!

Don't even bother

This is the worst hotel I've stayed at in the UK. Cobwebs all over the ceiling and walls and mould/peeling wallpaper next to the bed (see pictures). Just awful. I won't be staying here again any time soon. Avoid.
