Old Lamb Hotel

After accidentally booking the wrong night and turning up at the hotel when they were closed, I was greeted by a very friendly man , who I assume is the owner/manager, who was very understanding of my very silly mistake. After he explained they didn’t open on Sunday I said I understood and went to leave when he went to his book and said he could still help me and allowed me to stay in a single room at standard price. The following morning I then asked if he could move my accidental booking for Wednesday night back to Monday night. He happily agreed even though on booking.con it was “non refundable or exchangeable”. The room was exactly what you would expect, small but well decorated and cosy, with a nice spacious bathroom. Free parking and very quiet at night. Fantastic location.
