My wife and I often go to the Crispin for a mid week meal. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the Pub has a lovely atmosphere, with there being a mix of diners and people who are obviously regulars. There is always a good selection of food available with both the menu and specials on the board. This added to a good selection of drinks being available, make it a very pleasant evening.

My wife and I had a cracking Sunday lunch consisting of roast beef and chicken, along with a good selection of veg, Yorkshire pud and stuffing.

The meal and service was exceptional, the pub really nice and quaint in a lovely village location.

Would definitely recommend

Lovely evening celebrating Birthday and Retirement last night with family.  Food was amazing and staff excellent and really helpful. Thank you all so much for a lovely evening. Looking forward to the next time, give it a try you won’t be disappointed .

Lovely village pub stayed two nights in lovely clean spacious room with our dog lovely pub garden right next to the room was very peaceful breakfast was amazing even treats for our dog we all loved it friendly staff

Probably one of best roast dinners we've had out for long time.
The beef was lovely and tender and lots of it, good sized roast potatoes and a lovely selection of vegetables.
Makes such a change to go out and have good quality food, and not leave disappointed.


Great location in a pretty village and handy for Sandwich and Deal. Good for a walk into Sandwich (about 20-30 mins) or there is a longer walk you can take into Deal, which is all lanes, paths, and the option of a walk along the coast if you choose.

Staff were very helpful (mention for Will) and friendly, and the food was excellent. In fact, we were going to only eat in the restaurant one night but ended up eating in both nights. This was in some part to do with what we chose to do in the day -  walking, drinking and eating is hard work to do all day and night!!

Pretty village, cosy pub, really welcoming and efficient staff. Special thanks to Liam who sorted out a taxi for us for return journey from wedding reception when it seemed every taxi service was fully booked that night. A life saver!!  Very comfortable and spotless accommodation.  Would definitely return and would highly recommend.

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch .The Roast beef was tasty and very tender . The veg was all fresh and cooked to perfection . Cauliflower cheese was delicious . Roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding excellent too.. Couldn’t fault any of it . 
The parrot in the cage was very well for cared for and given a lot of stimulation . Obviously loved and cared for by everyone that works at the pub.
All the bar staff were very friendly and helpfull

Happy friendly staff that went out of the way to help us celebrate our wedding anniversary. We got there and had a few unexpected treats in the room. The food was lovley and generous portions.
The accommodation was good too.

Really enjoyed our stay in old country pub, good location.  Great room, nice and clean.  Friendly staff and nice evening meal.  Will stay again. Lots of history in the area and great places to visit near to Broadstairs, Margate, Ramsgate and Dover.  Happened to stay over blues bash weekend in Broadstairs which was fab, lots pubs with live music.  Dinner in pub on first night was lovely had sea bass from special board and hubby has pie of the day.  Nice open fire in the pub and nice atmosphere.
