164 reviewsWe are a group of friends who met at college over 50 years ago and still meet up every year. We normally stay in pubs or small hotels but this year decided to try a "big house rental". Wolfen Mill turned out to be the perfect location for us as we had the whole place to ourselves in a lovely rural location. The accommodation is all en suite, very well designed and spacious with all facilities. When we arrived it was spotlessly clean. The lounge on the top floor was great for meeting up and reminiscing; from there one of our group saw a kingfisher fly across the old mill dam. The dining area is huge where we all gathered round and one night we organised a local outside caterer, "The Lovely Cowshed" who provided delicious food. We had regular contact with the owners before and during our stay by email, phone and text and found them very friendly and easy to communicate with. We fully understand the need for a deposit in case of breakages etc and this was returned to us within a few hours of leaving. We have already recommended Wolfen to family and friends and hope to visit again soon.
