Amazing place to stay. We couldn’t fault it at all, Karen has thought of everything you could need plus more in the room. It’s well furnished and has a super comfy bed. With views that are breathtaking.
The breakfasts were all delicious. Karen is a great cook. 
Would definitely recommend.

We were made to feel so welcome in this lovely B&B which has everything we needed - there are little thoughtful touches everywhere. The breakfasts were amazing, and as vegans we felt very looked after and thoroughly spoilt. Highly recommended. We'll be back!

No effort was spared to make this a comfortable and welcoming trip. The breakfasts are ridiculously good. Worth visiting for the Arriva Trains walks as the station is just a few minutes away and takes you into the heart of the countryside. 

I went to this delightful B&B in April to celebrate my Birthday with my parents and fiancé. I stayed in the upstairs apartment and was thrilled with the light, comfy, spacious room with fantastic country views and a huge, luxurious bath!

My family and I are all vegan and we let Karen know in advance and she did a phenomenal job at accommodating us! When we got there we were greeted with amazing home made double chocolate chip cookies and banana muffins plus a vegan Easter egg. She also designed a fantastic vegan breakfast menu that frankly it was difficult to choose from because there were so many good options! The breakfast was cooked to perfection. In fact it was honestly the best breakfast out I’ve ever had! She even made us special vegan hot crossed buns for Easter!

Tucked out of the way but a special find and a place we would want to return to. We booked and stayed for just one night on our way to North Wales. We stayed in the upstairs room which was an absolute delight. Lovingly and tastefully fitted out to a high standard. Everything you could possibly want with home made cake and shortbread biscuits which was delightful. This B&B is of the high standard you would normally find in an upmarket quality hotel at a B&B price. A charming host and an extremely delicious breakfast. We would have loved have stayed longer and will definitely return.

Every tiny detail was just right. Spacious, super-comfortable room with own door and outside seating area. Even the dogs has their own welcome box! Fab lemon drizzle cake. Proper tea. Best breakfast ever with lovely views over open country. Great walks straight from the door. Birds singing. Chickens clucking. Will definitely be back!

Karen made our stay a great one!  Her attention to detail is second to none. The breakfasts were to die for and the room was lovely, cosy, clean and missed nothing. We would definitely recommend Hopton House and will be back. The whole weekend was relaxed and enjoyable. Karen is also a great dog lover and will pamper your dog too. Special mention for the Dog bed, dog towel, bowls and biscuits, Lemon Drizzle Cake, Real Heinz Beans (HP and Heinz Tomato sauce) rubber duck and Lovely cuddly Teddy!!!!

An excellent place to stay with a touch of luxury. Breakfast is amazing. Karen is a wonderful host. Our last visit was the third time we have stayed here and looking forward to visiting again. A visit to Ludlow is a must. Can recommend The Lion at  Leintwardine for an evening meal - advisable to book.

Our welcome on arrival at Hopton House was a warm one, and although I had failed to mention my partner’s food intolerances until shortly before we arrived, a quite wonderful cake (with list of ingredients) awaited us in the room.  Our room was spacious, with plenty of surface space with a lovely en-suite bathroom.  A good night’s sleep was undisturbed by noise of any kind.  Breakfast was a treat, a wide choice including cereals, fruit and full English (with vegetarian options) supplemented by lovely home-made bread, eaten while watching birds at the feeders, or just looking at what must be one of Shropshire’s best views.  No-one need starve here.  We’ve not stayed in a better B&B – and hope Karen will accept a very big “Thank You” along with this review (as well as an apology for the delay in posting it!).
