I was part of the Newport Outdoor Group visiting over the bank holiday. From the start, we were made very welcome and rooms were allocated although we arrived slightly early. The rooms were very clean, spacious and we had a glorious sea view. Jane's breakfast was amongst the best I have experienced in a YHA establishment. The full breakfast was beautifully cooked with fresh melon and pineapple, many cereal types, toast .spreads and freshly brewed coffee available. The TV lounge was comfortable with a good seafront view and there was plenty of space for eating, self catering and playing games. The showers and toilets were more than adequate. Although the one boiler broke down on the first day , it was fixed promptly and there were ample showers in the other part of the building. We had a great stay, did some scenic walking in the area and I would be happy to return.
