The most idyllic B&B ever! 
Set in beautiful countryside and hills of the Wye Valley - Magdalena has created an oasis of peace and relaxation. Just a few minutes from Hay-on-Wye with bike hire (thanks to Drover Cycles) and plenty of independent shops and cafes. 
The views are to die for. The rooms incredibly comfy and well designed. We had our own seperate dining room and kitchen pod with dishwasher and table and chairs. 
Walking up to views of the baby ducklings and stunning countryside. 

Magdalena prepares a full English breakfast each day which is delicious. 
There is a pub next door which serves excellent food with impeccable service too.

What a lovely place this and definitely not a traditional b and b. Our room with the patio o erlookiing the garden was first class with such a comfy bed. Our host was so friendly and breakfast in the separate cab8n really good. Dog Friendly too ! 

We had a wonderful one night stay at the Pandy B&B. Would highly recommend and we fully intend to visit again in the future! 
We booked last minute and the host was very accommodating and super helpful. Self check in was easy and the room itself was amazing. Perfectly clean, lovely, big, comfortable bed, power shower with toiletries & tea & coffee facilities. The breakfast in the wooden hut was exceptional, cooked to order, we love our food and everything was delicious, nothing was too much trouble for the host. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Next time we will arrive earlier and make the most of our stay!

Such a beautiful place to stay. Room was perfect, TV, kettle, various quality beverages and the owner is a great host! Made us feel so welcome! The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful, including the most refreshing shower and complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was amazing, food cooked fresh and excellent quality. My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend while visiting our son and his family. Pandy B&B is a wonderfully comfortable and equipped Bed and Breakfast hotel, offering a truly great breakfast cooked to order and a genuinely warm welcome from the owner. Nothing is too much trouble for her!

Myself and my friend stayed here for one night and had a lovely room on the ground floor with a huge accessible bathroom. 

The beds were very comfortable, there was a tv with a few channels, fast wifi, some toiletries and a bottle of milk in a mini fridge for tea and coffee. The room was spotless and has a lovely little balcony with table and chairs which we would have used it if was warmer. We really likes the simplicity of the rooms and the wooden design. 

The breakfast was amazing. Served in a wooden lodge by the lovely host with great views of the countryside and all cooked fresh and great quality. 

There is also a small but lovely pub on the same grounds which serves food and I would recommend a visit. 

If I am ever in this area of the country again then I would definitely book to stay again.

Really enjoyed our three night stay at this beautiful wooden lodge in Dorstone, near Hay on Wye. Spacious room, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast and friendly host. Indian runner ducks are charming neighbours. Will definitely stay here again.

Excellent b & b.  We were in room 4, upstairs, with a balcony and views to countryside.  Handy having a pub next door where you can get an evening meal.  Breakfast served in a “wooden hut” in garden, and cooked to order. Couldn’t find any faults, will hopefully be back again.

Me and my fiancé had a little holiday here and i can't recommend it enough it's stunning , clean and has the most beautiful view, the bedroom was perfect cosy and clean everything you'd want, you have a little fridge in your room that has a little glass bottle of milk that they will happily refill and lots of biscuits, coffee , tea and hot chocolate, the owner is the sweetest women she'll do anything to help you have a brilliant stay! The breakfast is 10/10 absolutely beautiful! They have ducks and chickens that payed us a visit , little chairs and tables out side if you'd want to sit out and read or relax and enjoy the view it's absolutely amazing!

Hay on Wye is a short car ride away , the most beautiful little village lots of book shops and things to do 

But I cannot recommend this b&b more as it was brilliant I did not want to leave!

It’s a beautiful property in a very quiet location. We were staying to visit Hay-on-Wye and it’s less than a ten minute drive into Hay. It’s situated behind the Pandy Inn pub and although our room was facing the car park, we weren’t disturbed at all, either by people or cars. It’s lovely and cosy inside, with plenty of tea and coffee supplies, including lovely fresh milk, which was a nice touch compared to the UHT milk you usually get. We had a wet room which was a really decent size. Everything worked perfectly, it was such a delight to stay there. The breakfast in the wooden hut next to the property was superb. Magdalena is a delight, cooks everything from scratch herself. My Mum is vegetarian and we hadn’t specified this prior to staying but she still had a choice of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or she could have had an English breakfast with some fried potatoes instead of meat. Plenty of fresh orange juice and tea and coffee with breakfast too. We loved the chickens and ducks that wonder around the garden and sometimes the car park! Of course, our eggs for breakfast were fresh from the hens.

A little gem of a place

My recent stay at the Zakopane House (formerly Pandy B&B) was absolutely wonderful! The rooms were spacious. All of the amenities were thoughtfully provided, including fresh towels and toiletries. The breakfast was delicious and the host Magdalene is a very friendly lady . I was able to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the house and the surrounding area. I would highly recommend the Zakopane House to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway.

A great place to relax on your holiday

The location was perfect. Magda the owner is a kind of wonderwoman....she built this stunning place herself and runs it singlehandedly whilst looking after 10 dogs, two horses, a flock of sheep and a flockette of beautiful hens and ducks.
This lovely twp-storey place is made from incredibly thick and well insulated weathered pine and sits harmoniously with the rest of this very special historic village. The pub right across the carpark dates back a thousand years (so they say) and is a kind a dream village pub....so will return when less pushed for time. Oh and next time I will remember to bring slippers as it's a crime to walk on those lovely wood floors in countryside shoes!

As near to perfection in the rural mini-resort as you could possibly expect....

A truly wonderful place and so different. The Polish style building is constructed from beautiful spruce and has a lovely warm relaxing feel. All rooms have generous en suite facilities, large comfy beds, TV, tea & coffee. Ours was very clean and tidy.
The rural location gives wonderful views and having an excellent pub ( separate business) literally on the doorstep was a bonus.
The genial host cooks a lovely breakfast to order in a separate pine cabin. There are chickens and ducks running in a pen together with a lovely garden. 
The location is perfect for exploring Herefordshire, the Wye Valley, Brecon Beacons, Hay-on-Wye, numerous castles and more. 
We are certainly coming back!!

Exceeded expectations

Just a few miles from Hay on Wye, tucked away in the countryside, this B&B is a little gem. If you want comfort , luxury and a delicious homemade breakfast this is perfect. Magdalena is the perfect hostess and nothing is too much trouble. Right next door is the Pandy Inn which has a lovely food menu too.
