Just back from a trip to Blackpool , stayed in the Astoria , Charlie and Tony are the best 👍, nothing was too much trouble , perfect hosts, you will not be disappointed staying here ,close to all the attractions also 👍

Could not recommend these guys enough, last minute booking after we were let down and they were as good a host as you could imagine m... Only gripe is they would not stop serving till very early hours ha ha... Book this place now I will be back. I need to return the belt I borrowed 👍

Great little hotel,24 girls stayed here for bed and breakfast we were welcomed right from arriving by owners Charlie and Tony,rooms were clean,with tea making facilities and clean towels, some were on suite but toilets close to rooms.
Bar in hotel not overpriced and bar snacks available for small price.
Breakfast next morning really nice cooked English with endless tea coffee and toast,this hotel is close to all amenities and you can see that once youv stayed here you will be back for more! Well we will..

Me and my partner went to Blackpool idaly for a few days, everywhere was full we were turned down it came to around 5pm we were very tired and wet through then we were told to come here straight away we were giveb a warm welcome, we explained our situation the manager tony was very understanding and trusting we have been going here for almost 4 years and everytime we love it and can't wait to go back again, we take our little girl she loves it too, off again Friday the 15 :) deffo recommend it no problems at all!

been pigeon flyers we like to stop near the winter gardens for the men and the shops for the girls the astoria is close to both val and tony are great looking after us 100 per cent cant wait until next year so if anyone is reading this and your going to blackpool this year drop in and see wot we mean its great

On first impressions, they were decent enough rooms for the price and the location. 

From there it went downhill…

We booked a FAMILY ROOM and a DOUBLE ROOM. 

The DOUBLE ROOM had towels and NO SOAP.

The FAMILY ROOM had soap but NO TOWELS. 

The DOUBLE ROOM had a tv that worked but were unable to watch anything as it had not been programmed and despite several efforts to do so, we gave up. 

The FAMILY ROOM had a tv that worked. 

We contacted the number provided to rectify the issues (there are NO staff on site) and we EVENTUALLY received a response in the AFTERNOON THE FOLLOWING DAY…SEVERAL HOURS AFTER WE HAD CHECKED OUT. 

The text from the hotel apologised that they hadn’t got back to us sooner and had the problems been rectified. We replied NO THE PROBLEMS WERE NOT RECTIFIED AND WE WEREN’T HAPPY…and that was the last we heard from them!

If you want a place close to the seafront that has comfortable beds, this is the hotel for you….but take your own soap and towels. 

If you want Customer Service, find another hotel!!

IF YOU WANT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE…AVOID!  Alternatively, if that DOESN’T DETER YOU, TAKE YOUR OWN TOWELS & SOAP!

Got to the b&b couldnt access entry no one onsite,no reception,a phone number on the door tried to ring it couldnt get a signal tried many times got through eventually then it cut off, when we finally got through was told check in wasnt till 13 mins time, we had no clue about a pin entry procedure baring in mind wed already paid, we were stood outside in the pouring rain soaked, simply would have been happy to get in the doorway to keep dry until 13 mins had passed but no the owner was rude unhelpfull selfish and didnt want to let us in 10 mins early, after asking if we could just get the pin number he decided he was cancelling the booking altogether couldnt believe it we'd prepaid travelled 3hours walked in pouring rain and this was our greeting unbelievable, id avoid at all cost he doesnt deserve any custom hasnt got customer service in him, if you dont like your job as a b&b owner id quit.
