Westdean Hotel

The west dean offers a warm friendly welcome and is ideally located being only a few minutes walk from the promenade and the pleasure beach but is far enough away to be excluded from the noise these areas generate. We stayed in a double 'silver' room which ok wasn't massive but was more than suitable for our needs,given the time we spent in it.the ensuite bathroom was also a decent size and very clean with all equipment in very good working order and plenty of nice,clean towels .the bed was reasonably comfortable with two pillows each and there is also a tv which boasts freeview channels so lots of choice if wanting to catch some late night tv before retiring to bed. There is also free parking available on dean street however this is basically a lottery if you arrive at the right time which we were lucky enough to do so. We arrived before the 12pm check in time and was allowed an un arranged early check in which was greatly appreciated. Overall at £50 a night for a silver double room with a decent size breakfast with toast and tea/coffee top ups represented excellent value. the west dean is a very clean,comfortable well located guest house and will be most definitely In our thoughts if another trip to Blackpool is the offing.i would recommend this guest house to anyone looking for a clean,decent,value for money place to stay.
