This property is amazing and value for money. Pat the host is amazing nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing This is our second time and we will be back

As a Black Country couple all I con say is what a BOSTIN PLACE TO STAY ⭐️Pat you are an amazing bloke and a top class chef we had a breakfast to die for room lovely and we got a parking space all in all fantastic See you next year for that bostin brekkie

As soon as we arrived and were welcomed by the amazing Pat we knew this place was a total gem. Pat greeted us so warmly and checked us in with a lovely coffee. Our room was comfortable, clean, warm and just really lovely. Pat makes the best breakfast! You can tell he absolutely loves being a host and nothing is too much trouble. Such a great guy and the guesthouse is a fab find. We won’t stay anywhere else now when we return to Blackpool as it wouldn’t compare to the Glenroy. Highly recommended.

We had  another fantastic stay with Pat at the Glenroy. Well overdue as we couldn't make it last year. Service was exceptional as always, bar well stocked, and the addition of bar food which again was exceptional. Room was clean and well presented. 
We arrived a little early and were lucky enough to get parked outside. 

Cant wait to come back.

What a fantastic stay we had at the Glenroy. A very warm welcome from our host Pat complimentary tea or coffee on arrival nice touch. The room was fantastic clean and warm. The lady who was serving breakfast was amazing always on the go. Parking was not a problem for us also pat phoned us to let us know there was a space available. There is some renevation work going on at the back but did not affect our stay one bit. Would i go back yes i would 100%.

My husband went to a stag do so we stayed locally to the pub we knew a few bed and breakfast places having stayed before but this was outstanding everything we could want and such a good service you could tell from the cleanliness and upkeep of the place the owner makes a real effort

The best hotel in Blackpool.  Pat is an absolutely superb host, the rooms are beautiful and everywhere is spotless.  Fabulous food and I won’t go anywhere else.  Always very much missed when it’s time for home.

The Glenroy hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome I would highly recommend this place there is no faults with this hotel it’s perfect for a break away for all the family or a couple the breakfast they have to offer is really nice too

From 1st to 3rd September, 27 members of my family went to Blackpool for two nights to see the illuminations and to visit the famous attractions such as the Blackpool Tower, the Blackpool Pleasure Beach etc. We stayed at the Glenroy Guesthouse owed by Pat and the Jellyfish Apartments next door (which is looked after by Pat). We had an amazing time, even though it was too short, it was truly lovely and very special. Well, what can I say about Pat!. From the first time I spoke with him over the phone, I felt immediately at ease with the warmth and positively in his voice. Organising accommodation etc., for a large group was not an easy task but it was made a lot easier and straightforward with Pat's experience, support and guidance throughout. Pat's friendly and welcoming manner when we finally arrived was absolutely marvellous, he was so organised that checking-in went really smoothly. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Pat was a brilliant host, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was really nice and served by his lovely assistant, Christine (Pat's angel!) who was also very welcoming and helpful. They both worked extremely hard to make our stay as pleasant as possible. There is a lot more I could say but I will end this review by saying that my family and I would highly recommend the Glenroy Guesthouse and Jellyfish Apartments to our extended family, friends and to anyone visiting Blackpool. Without a doubt, when we visit Blackpool again, we would definitely go back to stay with Pat. Well done Pat and Christine, keep up the good work.

Stayed for two nights in twin room for the Rebellion Festival and did not want to leave...
Hotel immaculate.
Breakfast amazing. 
But mostly Pat..You simply the best

Fantastic Stay AGAIN!!

Amazing 2 days in Blackpool

Absolutely marvellous, we loved it!

All I can say about this beautiful place is PAT. He makes your break away amazing. His home is beautiful, clean, modern, He brings people together. If u want a home from home this is the place for you, He is so welcoming and cannot do enough for you. His food is amazing His garden a haven especially if your an early riser like me. This will be our new favourite place from now on. We love you PAT xxxx 

Home from home

We are on our way back home from a lovely weekend away, we stayed next door in the jellyfish apartments which Pat also looks after. The apartments were clean and had everything you need! Pat and his lovely staff member Christine made us feel
So welcome. We had breakfast in the glen
Roy  and the breakfast was probably one of if not the best breakfast we’ve had, nothing was to much trouble for Pat and Christine. The toilet in the dinning room I think is the cleanest toilet I have ever seen. We were really well looked after. It’s the nicest place we have ever stayed! We really can’t wait to go back next year! Thank you Pat and Christine! We have had such a fantastic time you both work incredibly hard! We can’t wait to see you next year!

The owner Pat was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. We stayed there with our 10 month old and he did everything he could to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms are ocean themed , very well decorated and impeccably clean. Breakfast was very good with prompt service from the owner. Would happily stay here again.

Sat on the train back to Manchester as I write this..This place is just fab lovely little BnB across from the beach. Pat is such a friendly host, had the most loveliest 2 nights here and the breakfast was spot on just lovely, presentation in the dining room was great. We was in room 5 it was immaculate with nice comfy double bed, tea and coffee facilities and towels and toiletries for the shower. When I come to Blackpool again I won’t be staying anywhere else other than here. 
See you again in the future.

Little Gem

On arrival at The Glenroy Guest House, I was greeted by Pat who was very friendly and just what we needed after being stuck on the motorway for longer than necessary.  Pat was extremely helpful, helped with our luggage and obtained us a place for us to park our car for the weekend.  On entering The Glenroy, it was spacious and decorated beautifully.  After checking in quite quickly and taking our breakfast order we were shown directly to our room.  Pat being such the gent, carriage our luggage to our room.  The room was beautiful, very pleasing to the eye, we were both very happy with the amenities.  Pat advised us on the best places in town and was very knowledgeable of the area, which helped immensely.  After a very restful sleep, The Glenroy is very quiet and peaceful.  We had a full English breakfast that was included, it was sublime and my partner was in full agreement.  Our stay was perfect, I would definitely recommend for any families and couples alike.  We shall definitely be returning to Blackpool in the future and we shall be looking forward to returning to The Glenroy!

A Jewel in the Crown at Blackpool

Had a fantastic stay with Pat at the Glenroy. Lovely hotel with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a lovely garden and bar area to sit at downstairs.

Guest house is located very central and is a close walk to the beach/shops and bars. 

The cooked breakfast was delicious and served fresh every morning with toast, fresh tea, coffee and fruit juice. 

Nothing is too much trouble for Pat and he is a lovely host, we would not think twice about staying anywhere else when we return to blackpool.  Highly recommend, great stay!
