Brilliant hotel. Lovely big room and bathroom. The host is a very nice man and very accommodating nothing too much trouble. As much breakfast as you can eat and cooked fresh. Cannot recommend too highly.

We spent 2 nights here last weekend. We were made to feel welcome straight away by the owener chris. Our room was very clean and very spacious, bigger than other places I have stayed in blackpool. Breakfast well what can I say it was tip top and can not complain about a thing. Cooked breakfast, toast, cereals, fruit juice and as much as you wanted. The whole stay was very enjoyable and super for the price. We will be looking at comming here again in the future 

Have just spent 3 nights here and will be coming back next time we're in Blackpool. Was made very welcome from the moment we got there. The room was very clean and the bed very comfy, slept like a log every night. There is a variety of yummy options for breakfast from a cooked breakfast, cereal and yoghurts. Have just had a lovely 4 days away and stayed here, didn't no what to expect as never booked on line b4 but must say was very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. They say you get what you pay for, I disagree with that for £125 it was far better. Would definitely come again if in blackpool again..  thank u 💓

Host was great

Rooms where more than adequate my one especially was good and spacious. 

Breakfast was more than sufficient and I did say one morning I’d fancy scrambled egg etc and he said if you ask we will do it for you. 

Some people need to remember how much they are paying 

The price for me for what we got was a bargain.  

I’ve paid more in Blackpool many times for what I’d consider a worse experience. 

Would book the Avon in a heart beat

Stayed here for 3 nights for a trip with my friend, the room was basic but very clean, The breakfast was amazing Chris went out of his way to cater for me as I am vegetarian. I will definitely go there again. 

Fault cannot be found with this hotel. 
The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable, and because of that I had a very good sleep. 
The breakfast was lovely, and I just chose what I wanted as it was a buffet breakfast- which more hotels need to include. 
A very nice stay.

4.      Hotel very basic. But everything in room.    Lovely fresh cooked breakfast.  Owner very pleasant.  Nice room.  Bathroom was massive.   Very central near winter gardens.  Chris. Ower .very welcoming.    Train station minutes away  .    Nothing was any bother

Came to Blackpool to see the lights and booked here for 2 nights bed and breakfast. Went midweek booked a single room but as they weren't busy, I was given a double room. Nice size room and bathroom, large tv,tea and coffee making. Breakfast was brilliant, cereal, hot options sausage, bacon, egg,beans, hash brown, black pudding, toast and tea or coffee. Would definitely stay here again , close to the front and tower

Problem with window lock, but for  a budget hotel,dont expect things to be what you expect in a 4 - or 5-star hotel
Definitely go back


Great budget hotel

Very clean and spacious, Breakfast WOW!!!! 

Just returned from a lovely two night stay. Our room was very clean and Chris the owner was so friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and tidy there was a few things that could have done with touching up on like the toilet flush and the sink tap but nothing to really moan about. The breakfast was lovely and hot a of a good choice. Lots of different cereals to choice from and a good cooked breakfast fruit juice coffee tea and toast.
Great location will differently return.

Me and partner just bck from spending 3 nights here. Was not impressed when first walked in funny smell in hallway which couldn't work out what was.. but pleasantly suprised when got up to our room.. Which was comfortable.. Gd size room/bathroom and clean. 
Next morning down for breakfast which was delicious and plenty.
Chris the landlord couldn't do enough for us.. Lovely guy and works very hard. Also very friendly. 
Did not meet his wife jeanette but she cooks lovely breakfasts. I'm. Sure she does alot more round the hotel.. clean and  looked like had woman's touch 😁.. Not sure If we be back and the only thing which is off putting is the stairs.. I struggled.
9/10.
