Great location for exploring Wales. The apartman is huge and spotless. Sharon is best host ever, warm and welcoming person, gave us good hints about what to see next day. And she made us great Welsh breakfast :-) We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely come back!

Fantastic property with amazing views, host charming and very helpful. Full breakfast amazing, rooms and communal areas spotless can't fault it. Secure bike storage with access to many exciting trails in the local area. Give it ago, you won't be dissapointed

Rowan house is a fantastic place to stay made all the better by Sharon's welcoming attitude, nothing is too much trouble! We stayed as a group of 10 and took over the whole house from the double rooms to the self contained annex. Sharon cooked us all a lovely evening meal on the first night as decent places to eat for 10 are scarce in the area. Breakfasts were lovely and just what we needed before long days on the bikes. Sharon was helped by her grand daughter Olivia at breakfast who has the same attitude to great service! 
With so much space, amazing views, bike storage and great food, we will definitely be booking again for next year. 
Thanks Sharon, anyone that can put up with dancing with Dek after dinner has to be amazing!

The property is incredible with amazing views across the valley. The Afan mountain bike trail centre is an easy roll along the river - perfect for our group's mountain biking weekend. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Sharon and Adrian were so welcoming when we arrived and even helped us get a place for dinner. Breakfasts were great too. Honestly couldn't fault our stay!

Just what we wanted. Stayed here with a group of friends on a visit to the local mountain bike trails. Beautiful place, clean and practical: plenty of bathrooms, no shortage of hot water when we all arrived back, lovely big kitchen, and secure bike storage. Fantastic views. Lovely hosts. What more could you want?

Rowan House is surrounded by absolutely stunning natural beauty, spotlessly clean and totally comfy, and has the most charming and welcoming hosts who went above and beyond for us. 

We came for a mountain biking event and unfortunately there was a crash and my boyfriend was in the hospital for most of the stay, my first time in Wales I was quite stressed but Sharon and Adrian were so good to me and made me feel so at home, calmed me down with lots of lovely teas and chats and I am so super grateful. They are just wonderful people. 

It really is a special place, can’t recommend enough and have already told friends and family. Will definitely be back!!

Amazing find for a family break over Easter. Sharon & Adrian were brilliant hosts and very accommodating to us.
We stayed in the ground floor apartment which was very clean and had everything we needed, with lovely views looking out at Afan Forest.

We stayed in an upstairs bed & breakfast room whilst our adult children and granddaughter stayed in the apartment downstairs.

Those two words describe Rowan House exactly. We were greeted by Adrian who promptly offered to carry our bags and make us a cup of tea. The whole place has spotless granite floors and very tasteful decor. There is an amazing view from every window, with comfortable seating areas to sit and enjoy it. Sharon provides breakfast at a time convenient to guests and we thoroughly enjoyed a very tasty breakfast on both mornings. Our room was spacious and the tea and coffee station on the landing was fully supplied all day.  We can’t praise Rowan House highly enough. We stayed in order to visit relatives who we hadn’t been able to see for over eighteen months and Rowan House was the icing on the cake. We hope to return as soon as we can.

Can’t rate Rowan House high enough, stayed in the downstairs apartment which is beautiful, everything we needed was there, bedrooms lovely and the space in the apartment was great, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was exactly what I needed, outside area was great with lovely views of the valleys, hosts go out their way to help you and you feel comfortable in their company, massive kitchen was great also, will definitely return.
