Our second visit to Blue shutters because we knew what to expect. Our main reason for returning was Milly's fabulous breakfasts and the fact that we knew how clean everywhere would be. Once again we were not disappointed. OK so people complain about the lack of on site management and the parking arrangements. Get over it. It all works perfectly well for us. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

What a great place, quite handy location for travelling into Bournemouth. We arrived for our 1 night stay on Saturday afternoon, check in was simple and quick, we were able to get our keys without any hassle.

Room was spotless and charming, nicely setup with ample amounts of tea and coffee. Bathroom couldn’t fault all the amenities you needed, liked the touch of shower gels and shampoo handy if you’ve forgotten.

Nice touch with car park leaving room numbers in to make it easy if you got blocked in (Which thankfully we didn’t)

Breakfast on Sunday was great! Hosts made us feel welcome and breakfast was freshly prepared. 

Will be recommending to friends and family.

what an exceptionally clean and well maintained room. everything was easy including usb sockets and easy to to find plugs  with controllable heating. very comfy bed. bathroom shower with space and all toiletries  and breakfast served at room at exactly 9 am with warm pan au chocolate. now thats impressive

Blue shutters was a great place to stay whilst we were in the area for a family day trip. It was my birthday on the day and I'd kindly requested a mini fridge for a bottle of bubbles which was kindly provided with an added extra of a box of chocolates inside - thank you! A very thoughtful touch. Seamless check in process, didn't see a single person whilst we were there, lovely rooms and breakfast to the room was fantastic in these challenging times. Highly recommend and would stay again. 

Just returned from another wonderful stay at Blue Shutters, Poole.  This is our second visit and just can't wait to visit again. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in the area. In one word it's BRILLIANT.

An outstanding place to stay. The rooms have all been finished to a very high standard. They were warm, clean, tidy and very comfortable. There was plenty of tea and coffee in the room. The bathroom was excellent with good quality toiletries. The breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. The staff Millie was outstanding. Warm and very helpful. She cooked breakfast much earlier than the service time due to my early departure. They have a very good self check in system that was very easy to use and even have a system to help with the off road parking. Very organised and went above and beyond to ensure everything goes smoothly for their guests. I have not seen this much attention to detail in any other guest house. Well done Blue Shutters. I cannot recommend this place strongly enough. You won't be disappointed. I will definitely return here when I visit Poole again.

We stayed one night at Blue Shutters and cannot fault the guest house. It was easy to check-in, the rooms are roomy and comfortable, the place is super clean, breakfast was yummy and the owner went to extra mile to help us with a late check-out.

Just had a 2 night stay in Blueshutters. It uses an automated check-in which is very easy to use. Room was great and reasonably sized with a comfortable bed. Road is quite quiet so helps you get a good nights sleep. Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. Staff are friendly and helpful.  Overall, reasonably priced and a very good place to stay.

We have just spent another lovely  weeks stay at the Blue Shutters  in Poole.  Lovely  and clean rooms , food is well cooked and enjoyable . Milly and Cherry  can't  do enough  for you . It's like home from home wouldn't  stay anywhere else .  It is our 3rd time we have stayed  this year .See you again  next year

Had a lovely stay at Blue Shutters. Room was comfy, good size, & clean. Breakfast was very filling and tasty. The 24 hour check-in was useful & easy to use. Located close to a good mix of bars & restaurants.
Will stay again next time we are in the area

Another brilliant 3 day break at Blue Shutters.

Can’t fault, not much else to say!

A quality light and bright room and such great value

Down in Dorset for a short break, we pre-booked this place. Electronic check in was unusual but effective. Personally would have preferred a 'proper' meet & greet.

Room was good size and well equipped, but rather warm & stuffy, although once we had opened a few windows it soon cleared the air. Bed was large and comfortable.

Covid precautions were good and although they have just re-opened the dining room with well spaced tables, you could still order breakfast to your room if you were still unsure.

Host Anita was very friendly and helpful, but a special mention must go to Milly who seemed to be here, there and evetwhere and willing to go the extra mile.

Nice little B&B

Check in was via an automated 'pod' next to the door which I have never experienced before however I managed it. It is important to have your booking instructions and reference to hand else getting the keys will be difficult. There was nobody to meet and greet when I was there. The room was a reasonable size for a single bed only with desk, chair, clothes hanger and a bathroom with sink shower and toilet. The room was serviced daily and always seemed clean when i came back. The location is quiet and my bed was warm and comfortable so I had little problem sleeping with the window open. Breakfast was ordered the night before and served either in the room or the garden. The garden was a pleasant place to be on good weather and I saw squirrels in the trees one morning. Parking is out front and two deep so you might get asked to move your car if someone wants to get out. The kerb out front is only dropped partway across so that can be a bit of a surprise if you don't spot it and bump up onto the driveway. Nothing really to complain about - breakfast was always tasty and on time when I had ordered it.

Solo Holiday

Fantastic stay 

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights, obviously at present we are living in strange times with covid, we were the only guests but it is October.
This guest house was easy to find, has parking for upto 8 cars, the room we had was a twin room. The room was very clean and comfy, had a kettle, complimentary water and tea and coffee, a small fridge was available. There was a good sjzed tv too. 
The only thing i found a little strange given that through covid I have stayed in a couple of other B&Bs and I understand everyone is doing there best to stay safe and do things differently that i had no contact except for delivery of breakfast with anyone, no person on check-in just a machine which gives you your key on entering booking code and having to text breakfast orders through, so no personal touch and as we had never being to Poole before didnt know where places where and had no info in room, but even though im saying all this I would still stay here again.

We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting for a friend’s wedding. The room we stayed in was relatively compact however it was clean and well decorated. It had a good size TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
Really liked the breakfast, you ordered what you wanted the night before and posted the card. If you didn’t have time to sit and eat you could also order a takeaway sandwich-which was delicious.
My only complaint would be we stayed on the top floor and think we had a family with young children staying next to us. The walls seemed a little thin and we could hear them quite a bit. 

Decent B&B

Perfect stay. Highly recommended.

This guest house has kerb appeal and the proximity to Sandbanks and Poole is excellent. The drop box for the collection of keys works well and seamlessly.
Once inside you can smell the old guest house problem of stale breakfast  even though it's late afternoon. As you go into your room you realise that there are no soft close doors so expect noise when guests return home maybe later then you would.
The room we had was bright and large enough.  The carpet was particularly dirty with stains and the road outside is busy so loud traffic noise. Some walls are scuffed. However, important things like comfortable beds, good warm water pressure and such a large multi-functional TV were spot on.
You need to state the time you would like breakfast and choose what you would like.  A difficult one as it helps the staff but is inconvenient for the guest.  As it was we were ready earlier then stated but the breakfast was served almost 10 mins later than we had asked. The dinning room was empty but the lady didn't hear us and another couple come in.  It did taste wonderful and was cooked very well and the lady cooking it was very friendly and delightful.
I think for the price this is a super place to stay and would recommend it to people wanting to stay in the area.
