Stayed at this hotel as visiting family in the area . The rooms were lovely and the stay was peaceful . We ate in the restaurant, the food was lovely but a little slow and it got a bit late for the kids but on the whole a lovely stay . Breakfast was excellent 👍

The room was really comfortable and a good size.  The usual comfy Premier Inn beds.  Decor was not the most modern but for the price, I was not expecting 5* and was really pleased overall.  Recommend for the convenient location as a base.  Not if you are expecting luxury and perfection

Thank you for an excellent stay.  The room was in great condition, and we had a really comfortable nights sleep.  Top marks for the receptionist on duty, Friday evening (12/4) and Saturday morning (13/4), she was one of the nicest people we have ever met behind a reception counter.  

We shall come again when we next visit family.

I stay here often and on this occasion I have to mention that the staff helpfulness was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was very clean, the bedroom was spotless. I recommend this hotel and will be going back. I find it strange how Premier Inn quality and standards vary between hotels, it must be due to individual staff and managers.

we use this premier inn a lot, its convenient for us on travels up and down the A1. My husband is coeliac, and we find the knowledge shown and care taken by the staff is excellent and really reassuring. Beds are lovely and comfy too of course

We stayed here for the weekend the rooms were comfortable,clean and everything you would needThe staff were very accommodating especially with all my mobility needs,it’s close to all we wanted and will definitely be going again thank you sue you made our weekend 

Staff were all really friendly and welcoming. The room was a good size, was clean and in a secure area. It is situated about 10 minutes drive from Pontefract town centre and was easy to access from the A1.

Stayed overnight on the road back to Scotland, staff were very friendly and room was very clean.
Staff were very helpful after checking out as I'd left my toiletry bag and they have arranged to get it sent back to me. 

Stayed over on business. Had such a relaxing night's sleep, and started the day of well with a tasty all you can eat breakfast at Brewers Fayre next door. Big thanks to Fran and Aaron for a friendly and efficient experience!

We stayed here on Valentine’s Day as we were going out for drinks in Pontefract. Lady on reception was very friendly, the room was nice but maybe slightly worn and dated. The bathroom has some small mould growth which you don’t expect to see in a premier inn. Not bad for the price we paid and we had a full night sleep, no noise from other rooms which was nice :)

Great stay

I stayed overnight before last stage of very long journey. Early on Sunday I could not start my car for the second time in two days and was concerned about the safety of motorway driving if there was a serious fault. I've stayed there before. The young staff are helpful and pleasant. It's nice. However, this was potentially a difficult problem, I was very tired, concerned and had difficulty contacting  the RAC online. So many thanks to receptionist Sue. She calmly found and called an RAC number that would enable me to speak to someone and I was able to get a much needed coffee while I waited. It sounds a simple thing, but to me, tired and travelling alone, it was a huge help and exactly what I needed. Thankyou 

Pleasant and helpful staff

Myself and a friend stayed here for one night to attend a local ghost hunt. 
When we arrived the lady behind the desk saw my friend had a walking stick and offered us a ground floor room which was excellent, made our stay much easier.
The room was clean and tidy, everything worked and we had no issues.
We paid for the meal deal, had a nice dinner in the Brewers Fayre next door (which has an amazing family area with a big soft play at the back!). Breakfast was fine although sadly we only got half of the cooked breakfast as they were not replenishing the food over half an hour before the end of service, not good when you've already paid for everything! Toaster needs replacing as it takes forever but everything else was good.

Convenient and comfy.

We stayed here on the way back from Scotland as it is in a very convenient location with a restaurant next door. Everything about it was fine, except for one thing. You hear so much about bed bugs these days so I was sorry that there was nowhere to put my case. I ended up perching it on the desk.
