Good night sleep. Stayed here and went out for a friends birthday.. Clean rooms, hotel manager was friendly and quiet throughout the night :)  may recommend to others :). All in all a very good stay. We booked 2 rooms, one on the very top floor which was a long way when your intoxicated after a night out ;) haha.  

Vincent was very helpful, he greated us and was able to sort our room situation within 15 minutes (I should mention that I accidentally booked the room for the following night). the rooms were spacious and extremely clean. I had a private room with a full size bed, all the rooms have a sink but the bathroom is shared and was also kept very clean. The location was about a 20 minute walk to the water front which is loaded with bars and restaurants. The street was quit and it was rather easy to find parking, just check with the host to make sure you are parked on the correct streets as some of the streets are for residents only. I would highly recommend this place for a one or two night stay while in town. 


Booked this hotel the same day we stayed. We had a very warm welcome from Mrs Tan and her son. We had room 7 which had twin beds and an ensuite shower and toilet. Towels were nice and fluffy. There was a kettle and plenty of tea coffee and milk. It had an efficient radiator. The bed was comfy. Wifi was free. Breakfast was served with a smile and was good value. It is easy walking distance to the Barbican and the Hoe. We parked right outside and got a £2 permit from the hotel. Very close to the Plymouth Pavilions where we saw a show

Backpackers do Belmont 

Good location, spotlessly clean

We stayed here after going to a concert at the Plymouth Pavillions, which is situated just down the road from the hotel (3-5 minute walk).
The hotel manager was very welcoming and showed us to our room.
The room was basic with everything you would expect in a standard room (en-suite, tv, wifi, kettle etc), but very comfy.  
I would recommend staying here if you are on a budget  as family rooms start from £65 a night.

Good hotel/B&B

I stayed here for a few weeks and I got to say the rooms were very cold and heating did not work properly, the rooms are very dirty and with Covid you would expect this to be a priority right now, and the showers don’t look like been cleaned in years.

Rooms are very basic and not worth the money they are currently charging £60.00 a night, no where to warm up any food not even a microwave so have to eat out which is expensive to say the least.

The only positive if there is any is its got free WiFi and its close to the town centre other than that avoid it at all costs.

Me and my parent booked this hotel for a night stay and I tell you this was the worst place I have ever stayed.where do I start well when walked in door owner took my partner bank card for security reasons we paid by cash 55pound.went to room had a shower wish had little water pressure. We went to a pub for nice meal on way back went to check my partner back and noticed owner of hotel had tranced 50poind from his bank to there account.went back to owner and asked why she did not give me a explanation.i said to her I will not be paying 105pound a night in this hotel. When I told her I will be reporting this to the police she took my photo with out my consent. And then told me I could come back at 9pm to pick up my money(50). I will not recommend this place to stay if you do do not give them your bank information if you check your bank account.... They do not even proud you breakfast for the price you pay

Bad stay

A truly horrible experience for me and the kids. Booked over the phone, agreed a price, and arrived only to be told we had to pay more. The woman in charge kept telling us to go find another place if we weren't happy to pay more. To cap it all she called the police !!!! after I insisted on a receipt ( she added an extra £20 to the final bill and I disputed this !)
