Quaint pub/hotel combination. Staff amazing. Locals interesting!...plenty of parking. Excellent for a stopover. Free breakfast with real bacon!. Couldnt fault it.

Great place, very clean,  good food, ample parking, free breakfast, quiet, welcome inroom ameneties, friendly and welcoming.

There was an event going on and i was including  but later drying the vent my mum called and she's was not well and the staff was brillant and let me go ealier and the staf keept comming two me and asking me if i was okay been there before thats why i go cuse the are bloodly friendly

I recently stayed at the Falcon Hotel in Whittlesey and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. This charming hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, affordability, and warmth that’s hard to find elsewhere.The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere, especially on chilly evenings. Despite its budget-friendly rates, the hotel didn't compromise on quality. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the amenities were thoughtfully provided.The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to go the extra mile to make guests feel at home. The hotel's location in the heart of Whittlesey made it convenient to explore the local area, with shops, pubs, and attractions just a short walk away.If you’re looking for an affordable yet delightful place to stay in Whittlesey, the Falcon Hotel is an excellent choice. I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit!

The car park is greatly improved since we last visited.  We were here for two nights, on the first evening we had a meal in the restaurant, this proved to be excellent, we had the Hunters Chicken.  Food we've had here in the past has always been top quality and this was no exception.  The breakfasts were excellent too, very filling, I had fried egg with my sausage, bacon & tomato the first morning & scrambled egg on the second.  The accommodation was pretty good though the mattresses in our room had seen better days but no doubt the owner is aware of this & will replace at some point.  All the staff were warm & welcoming, would we stay here again ??  In a heartbeat. 
Otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

Whilst it was dated and needs bigger tvs and a good brush up, I really enjoyed my stay, great food, great beer, amazing breakfast, fantastic value for money.

! am unable to review the rooms as we only stopped for a Sunday Carvery, but the service was efficient and very friendly. We had not prebooked but a table was found. The dining room was reasonably busy. As we were not having starters, we were able to go directly to the carvery- no waiting.  A choice of Turkey, Beef, and Pork, then help yourself to veggies. All very nice, food was hot and portions of meat were good. The rum and rasin cheesecake desert with cream was an ideal end to the meal. We will definitely be returning.

Great little very reasonably priced hotel. A bit dated but clean and lots of room. Nadine was fab and so friendly at check in and at the bar. Didn’t expect the church bells so often during the night, but not the hotels fault. Breakfast was nice. Free parking too so can’t ask for more given the price.

Good cheap stay.

A Hidden Gem in Whittlesey

This is only a sunday carvery review

I come up to Peterborough once a year, first time staying here. Service was great, room was very clean and organised. Breakfast was spot on, always enough and very friendly staff. Staying for 3 nights was resonablly priced aswell. The only thing the other half mentioned was the church bell's that rang all night/day but other than that I would stay here again.

We were given a warm welcome and found the hosts friendly and chatty. We loved the character of the Falcon. It's old and rambling, with a quirky layout upstairs. Some parts are a little tired but you would expect that with an older property, and much of it has been freshly decorated. Our room was clean and comfortable. The neighbourhood is interesting and pleasant to walk around on the Heritage Trail.

Brilliant,  very friendly,  helpful,  nice bar, good food and the breakfast was cracking, large bedroom (room 2) and shower room/ toilet. We both slept well . It is an old building and some quirky bits but we liked that. We are booking again in the not to distant future, Steve and Karen Simons £120 for two night including breakfast cant beat it

We popped out to try the newly refurbished Falcon Hotel, in Whittlesey .  We have to say how impressed we were with the new decor and style inside.  We decided to stay on Friday night for dinner, and have to say  the food was excellent and hot, service very good and attentive staff, and at a reasonable price, lovely evening thank you

Great Food

The hotel was fantastic everythjng was brilliant the food was excellent and espically the entertainment there was something from everyone the entertainment changed every night starting with the kids and then for the adults from bingo to dancing always putting a smile on people's face   masha was one of our favorite she was brilliant she entertained the kids and then always made sure we were looked after. I will deffenitly be coming back for a second time and most likely a 3rd and 4th we have enjoyed every single minute of our time here.

I booked 2 nights as I was working locally in October 202.  Having stayed here before, and knowing the character of the place and the owners, I returned again. 

It's a Ye Olde style coaching inn, it's got uneven floors, surface mounted cables and pipes.  It's got character.  I was allocated a huge room, 3 beds, big shower in the en-suite.  Overlooking a side street.  Quiet. It was cold out, and I casually mentioned this to the gentleman that booked me in when I arrived.  

Returning after work that evening I found 2 electric heaters in my room.  Now, it was positively tropical.   Thank you so much for that thought.  As if that wasn't enough?  

I'd asked if they minded me working in the bar as I needed a desk to work on, or a table.  

A few minutes later, knock on the door and a table and a chair were bought into my room from the bar.  Can't get better service, they were so helpful. 

Breakfast was a plateful, with cereal and orange juice for start.

Lovely helpful staff, thank you.  Quirky place, with character.  I'll be back.
