Camilla House Garden Flat

Myself and my partner decided to try and get away last minute in Cornwall, and stumbled across Camilla House online and booked instantly (we must have got a cancellation slot as we can’t seem to get booked back in!). We stayed 27-30th July. When we arrived at 3 where we were greeted by Fee, who was lovely, and asked and suggested some different things to do while we were staying there. We were then shown to our room, Poldhu, which was absolutely stunning and also had a beautiful view of the sea from the window. The inn is a small walk from town and also a short wander away from a little arcade which is always fun. Breakfast was deliciousr every morning, and we found ourselves eating a full english every day despite trying to convince ourselves we only needed a small breakfast. Something else I could have eaten my body weight in was the apple cake that Fee made and put in the room, which went perfectly with a tea at night. Something you need to bare in mind when staying here is the timings and requests Fee makes in terms of arrival times, breakfast times and letting her know what you would like for breakfast (there’s a little book in the room which explains this). Be appreciative of the effort that goes in to running and getting everything organised for you as a guest in terms of this, as there’s a few reviews complaining about coming down to breakfast at 9 and being rushed or being told they’ve missed breakfast or turning up late and no one being there to greet them, and this place is completely undeserving of it! Just be respectful that Fee is busy getting everything prepared for the day and following day as well as having a life! Thank you so much for the most wonderful week!
