We loved this accommodation and wished we could have stayed more nights here! The gentleman who manages it is very friendly, helpful, and interesting to talk to. The continental breakfast was fresh and tasty and the house itself is old, but kept up and beautiful. Our room (2 double beds) was typically small, but well furnished with comfortable beds, tv, wifi, and a clean en suite toilet/shower room. Beautiful view of the back yard area from our window. 30 min walk to central Edinburgh (Royal Mile) straight down the street. 15 min to Holyrood Park and Arthur's Seat. Nice residential area. Took an Uber to the Airport at the cost of 17 pounds. We would definitely recommend this to other travelers and would stay again should we return to Edinburgh.
