Judy Guest House

Before arriving at the guest house I got a text asking what time I would arrive. When I did arrive, I was greeted by one of the politest men, David. David and his brother John help run this guest house for their mum Judy. They are the friendliest, most well mannered and accommodating people I have ever known. The guest house is a large georgian house over 100 years old with some stunning features including some beautiful stain glass windows. The rooms are practical and clean. There is a brilliant kitchen on the top floor for guests to use. This saved us money as we were able to shop at the local supermarket and cook most nights. Their is breakfast served every day which includes, fruit, cereal, toast, eggs, bacon and tomatoes. This also includes fresh orange juice, tea and coffee. A quick walk for 2 minutes takes you to the bus stop across the road with buses every 5/10 minutes into Edinburgh. Edinburgh Zoo is also a quick 5 minute walk away which makes this an ideal location. We stayed for 9 nights, as we did the fringe. As a homebody to stay anywhere for 9 nights would normally make me home sick, not Judy guest house. Judy and her family made this a home away from home, thank you all.
