Fabulous, immaculate and well run park. We stayed in the static caravans which are modern, clean and well equipped. Had a lovely week here. Such a good base for visiting Edinburgh and surrounding area.

Good facilities and The Stables bar restaurant is really nice.
Fab location with easy options to City centre 
Only issue is the motorhome grey waste disposal. Currently a really heavy metal drain cover to lift. Not a lot of room to manoeuvre. Need to install a drainage grid across road. Most users miss drain completely so goes all over the road 

Everything was perfect from first booking over the phone in March to our 2 day stay in June a lovely pitch ,near to the excellent shower and kitchen facilities. The music in the showers and kitchen beautiful.
A wonderful welcome in reception, well stocked reasonable shop .
As we were only staying 2 nights didn't get chance to use the Stables restaurant. 
The site is 5 stars plus  would highly recommend .

Stayed at Morton Hall camping site for one night ahead of the Edinburgh Half marathon. The site it so close to the city but then feels like you are out in the countryside. 
 Organisation was fabulous with a really swift and friendly check in. Site was well organised and loads of facilities such as shop site, restaurant/bar, games room, etc.
 Checked out the pub and restaurant where the staff were super friendly and efficient (even when it was really busy). The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Both allowed dogs which is a bonus. 
Toilet blocks were very well kept and clean. Lots of extra facilities on site that were just generally well organised and a great little games room for the kids. Will definitely be returning!!!!

Ideal campsite if you are visiting Edinburgh, really easy to catch a bus into the city (and doesn't take long to get there) but the site was quiet and peaceful. Really good modern facilities in the new bathroom / kitchen block. Great playground for the kids. Friendly people at reception and the little shop has everything you need.

So stayed on campsite in motorhome for couple nights. A little hiccup on arrival but was sorted out by staff the following day.  Lovely bar with nice food. Toilets facilities really clean and good thing is only half hour bus ride into centre of Edinburgh. Also had a lovely garden centre just as you drive into park. Would I go again? Yes already booked. Highly recommended. Oh forgot to mention on site shop caters for all your day to day needs .

I booked a static caravan for the  Easter weekend and we had an wonderful time. The caravan was dog friendly, really modern and comfortable with the main bedroom having a toilet.  The site was  busy but we didn't see many people it was so quiet and peaceful. 

The park is brilliant for all ages we had toddlers and they loved the swings and slides and the freedom to walk around on the grass areas. They also loved the Highland cows. There is also a pub and games room. 

The staff on reception were lovely, helpful and friendly.  The check out is 10 so as a treat we went up to the garden centre for a Scottish breakfast after packing which was  lovely. 

We also went to Peggyslea farm near the Pentland Hills for the Easter Event this was wonderful and the adults and children loved it so worth a visit if your staying over an Easter weekend and only about 25 minutes from campsite and easy to find.

Big site but it wasn’t full so there was loads of space. Great facilities with a huge new shower block and campers kitchen- perfect for rainy days. We had a good sized campervan pitch with hookup. Well spaced and quiet. Handy little ship and a great farm shop at the bottom of the drive. On the bus route to Edinburgh too!

A well set out campsite with plenty of space.  Lovely heated toilet block and showers.  One block brand new.  Fantastic grounds for dog walking or general walking.  Bus stop at entrance with regular buses into Edinburgh.  Would highly recommend

We had a family gathering in Edinburgh and opted to rent to Holiday homes as an alternative to very expensive hotels. We didn’t really know what to expect but it was like staying in luxury exclusive apartments. Great high end finishing and everything provided. Perfect sized rooms and main bathroom. Our double room even had an en-suite WC which wasn’t expected. Can’t recommend it highly enough and will certainly be back.

Family Easter Weekend

Big but lovely site

A hidden Gem and definitely way better than staying in a hotel.

Stayed at this lovely campsite for 4 nights in our motor home. The site is really well maintained, the staff are helpful and friendly. Really easy to get to and from Edinburgh on the no. 11 bus just outside the campsite, takes around 30/40 minutes. The garden centre at the entrance to the site is worth a visit. The Stables bar is great if you want to eat or just sit by the fire with a drink. The food here is really nice. The shower blocks are clean, a shower caddy to put your toiletries in would be helpful. All in all we had a lovely stay here 
and will be returning again at some point.

Lovely site with easy access to Edinburgh city centre

Second time staying at Mortonhall, this time we had one of the Shepherds Hut's. Firstly, all the staff we came into contact with we couldn't fault, everyone was so friendly and polite. 

We arrived super early to make most of our time in the City, we was able to leave our car on site which helped. Check in was very quick and easy. 

The Shepherds Hut was great, so clean, had everything we needed for our two night break. 

The bus which takes you into the city centre is just located at the top of the drive way and is so handy to have a city break but able to come back to peace and quiet and your own space on the evenings. 

Highly recommend to anyone.
