We initially got an issue with the first apartment assigned to us..weed smell all around and toilet not clean properly. 
However, Aron was really apologetic and solved the issue giving us another bigger flat. We really appreciate your "5 star" customer service.

This company rents multiple flats/houses  within the Cardiff area via Expedia/Hotels.com. So be careful when checking the reviews of the places as they may not be talking about the place that you are booking. Also - some of the booking systems do not understand this, and send you the address of the company, not the place where you were staying. 

We were booked into Brook Street. We telephoned the owner when we got to Cardiff to verify the address, and arranged key pickup without any problems. Brook Street is only a short walk from Cardiff Castle and Cardiff Arms Park. There is residents permit only parking on the street, and there are no permits provided with the rental.

I would describe Flat 5 Brook as 'worn'. The front door had clearly been kicked in at some point and did not fit very well.  The furniture/crockery was mis-matched and battered. The fire blanket was missing.  The owner probably has never tried staying in the place so doesn't realise the limitations of the setup. E.g. Due to the overdoor hooks in the bathroom the bathroom door is hard to close and lock. There is no soap provided in the bathroom.

The wifi was fine and the TV worked.  The beds were comfy, but didn't provide enough pillows. I get the feeling that these places are often rented by large groups who view it as cheaper than getting a taxi home after a night out and the party continues later. 

So - I guess how you feel about the place depends on what you paid for it. It is by no means luxury accommodation, but if you want somewhere central to stay in Cardiff it is fine.

Flat 5 Brook Street

Didn’t look like it had been cleaned after the last people had left
There were eight of us stopping there with no hot water, how could we be comfortable without hot water and no shower for a whole weekend? Completely unexceptable! When we phoned the landlord his reply was “ it is what it is”!! Had to take it in turns to boil a kettle and wash in the sink
No tea or coffee, crocks looked dirty. 
Sofa bed could not fit two people on it as stated.

Do not book a stay with Flat 5, they're dangerous & are total dumps!

We had the misfortune to stay at Flat #4 during a recent weekend in Cardiff with our friends. As soon as you enter you are greeted with the stink of weed / skunk. The place was very basic, cold & very tatty. The carpets were dirty & badly frayed & everything dusty dirty. The whole place needs a serious overhaul. A good example being - The fire door into the living room which we were barely able to open as the springed-hinge mechanism was knackered so the foor was wedged open with a wooden spoon FFS! Kind of makes you wonder if this place gets fire checked. No point having a fire door that unless your built like a brick s/house you cannot open!!

So,,  whilst we were in bed on the Sunday morning we were burgled with several personal & expensive itemscstolen. The police & CID have been working on the case & have arrests pending following capture of the culprits on CCTV using our cards etc & from fingerprint matches. The CID told us it was highly likely that the key had been duplicated & sold on, proper security is non existent. No key safe or anything in place!! Looking back we all realise how lucky we were that none of ys were awoken or else we could be looking at something much more sinister an outcome!!

Finally we have been in contact with Mr Mattu the owner of Flat 5. He's simply washed his hands of us & has been incredibly unhelpful & unresponsive to our situation. He says that his insurers have told him as there was no forced entry they are not taking it further. The fact that the perpetrators are on CCTV, the police have their fingerprints & are poised to arrest serms to hold no baring with him. He is not fighting our corner or offered any firm of reimbursement / compensation for our loss / suffering. He obviously is a man with no ethics & is only interested in makjng £££'s, unscrupulous & untrustworthy to the core.

I / we all strongly advise anyone considering a stay with Flst 5 to think again & look elsewhere. 

Do not bokk with Flat 5,  its a dangerous dump.!!!

The apartment is at a totally different address, at an ugly and dirty area. The apartment was also ugly and dirty. Water tube was not working, bathroom flooded by water. No wifi.

Complete cheating

We booked here as it is close to Tommy Heaney's restaraunt only to find that we were staying in Brook Street which is over a mile away. This meant forking out £12 for taxis.
They place where we stayed was a bit of a dump, very cold, no lampshades, plenty of cobwebs, a large single bed (not a double), postage stamps for pillows, up 3 flights of very steep, narrow stairs, we weren't given any information on where to park, it's all residence permits around there. No info on what to do with the keys at the end of the stay. 
Worst place I've ever stayed.

Very disapointing

There was no parking as was advertised on late rooms, no WiFi as was  advertised  on late rooms, the television did not work, the toilet seat was broken,  some light bulbs not  working and the flat smelled.......will not stay EVER again.... DO NOT RECOMMEND
