This is my third time here and as ever, the place is impeccable and Antony the perfect and attentive host.  I can't recommend this place highly enough.  It is a charming home decorated to a high standard. The beds are super comfortable - even more than my own Vi-spring mattress! The breakfasts are extremely generous and the town of Moretonhampstead is charming with enough places to eat in in the evening or there are plenty of pubs and other restaurants in nearby towns that Antony can advise you on.  Moretonhampstead is the perfect place from which to explore Dartmoor and Belmont is the perfect place to stay.  Highly recommended.

Finding ourselves west of Exeter and on the fringes of Dartmoor, where better to stay the night than to return to Belmont B & B in tranquil Moretonhampstead, after our last visit almost 4 years ago,
To our delight nothing had changed: still the English country house decor with its fascinating and interesting artwork, immaculate bathrooms and pretty bedrooms with potted geraniums in bloom and above all, the meticulous patron Antony providing a warm welcome and his outstanding breakfast, sourced from local produce and his own homemade marmalade and jams.
Do not be dismayed by the M'hampstead parking problems, because Antony will happily advise, or the unpretentious exterior of Belmont, because once inside you will be transported to a different world.

My girlfriend and I stayed with Antony in September and had an absolutely wonderful experience. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a larger room which worked out great. This B&B is top notch all around. Antony is a spectacular host and lovely conversation. The rooms/B&B were spotless, the bed was amazing, the quaint view out of the bedroom window was perfect. We had a teapot, a beautiful en suite washroom with a large shower and the breakfast provided was delicious. We could not have asked for a better time at the Belmont B&B and we hope to be back again!

We had a wonderful stay in this first-rate B&B. Everything was luxurious and top quality. The room was lovely, with a really comfortable bed.  The breakfast was delicious. The hosts were very welcoming and we'll certainly stay again.     

We travel a lot and  were delighted to find this lovely place in the heart of Devon.  We were very impressed with the quality of the immaculately clean rooms, the fresh crisp linen and the elegant sophistication of the place. Lovely views an attentive host who couldn't have done more to make us feel comfortable ad at home, he got up at dawn to prepare us a delicious and hearty breakfast. I highly recommend  Belmont to anyone who wants  a break among the moors and tors of Devon for a peaceful stay a stones throw from the amenities of this charming small town. .

We will be going back.
