We have stayed at many hotels in and around the area but this is the best. Staff are amazing, friendly and so helpful. Rooms are good size and have everything you need for a great stay. Pub next door, food lovely and staff again great.  We only stay here now for past 3 years.

We stayed at this hotel on Halloween and the night after with our two young daughters. We were overjoyed because the staff had prepared treats and a few games for them before we arrived. This thoughtful gesture truly touched my heart and made me feel compelled to write a review. We had already planned to engage them in coloring and a mini treasure hunt since we weren’t home this year. The hotel’s additional gesture of decorating for the occasion made their experience even more exciting.

The hotel itself is consistently clean, tidy, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Honestly, I can’t think of anything negative about it. It’s a perfect place to stay. I highly recommend it. 10/10

Sue at reception was fantastic very helpful had a great stay would recommend. If you are looking for somewhere to stay for work or any other related occasions this place is great. Good breakfast and room rates too. Restraint across the road with also friendly staff and good prices if you’re looking to have a decent meal whilst away.

The staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. It’s located in a nice area and was quite.
Also for Christmas they gave an small present and postcard, that was very nice of them.

I will choose again Premier Inn of Newton Aycliffe 

Stayed for 3 nights from Christmas Eve. Lovely touch on arrival of bottle of sparkling wine in an ice bucket, chocolate truffles, a couple of little snack gift bags, crackers and a nice Xmas card. There was also little gifts for children on the reception desk. Lovely and friendly, and a note from Angela. Lovely Christmas stay. 

A great welcome from the receptionist (Yvonne) got our stay off to the best start, so cheerful and had time to talk.
Couldn't have been more helpful in ringing the eatery to tell them we wanted to eat even though they were about to close the kitchen as it was getting late.
Great service all round.

We stay at this location a few times a year to visit relatives. It is always clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. Easy to find, good carparking and the restaurant next door is good too. We slept so well it was a rush to get to breakfast every morning!

Friendly staff, very clean rooms. Lots of parking directly outside. Don't be put off by the musty smell in the stairwell, the rain was spotless. The hungry horse was a few steps away, again very friendly and good choice if evening meals 

We needed to be near family and chose this location for that purpose. Premier is always an expected standard. No frills, but comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Restaurant closed early on this occasion, but there was a sign to tell us, so we tailored our day to accommodate that.
The bed was so comfy-we overslept the first morning!  

We went up to see family the room was warm and clean . We slept really well , breakfast was good had a choice of full English and continental. I would recommend this hotel if your visiting the area and you don’t hear any traffic

Always a positive experience.

We've stayed at this many times as local to a family member. Stays are always comfortable (love the beds) and rooms clean. On arrival yesterday and in August when we stayed the kids had a little competition to enter and won a prize for taking part. Also a small treat and drink for the kids was a lovely touch.

Only negative is room does smell a little musty.

Overall all though great stay again, thank you Sam, Angela and team x
