Perfect B&B whilst visiting family in The Mournes.  Fabulous hosts Gareth & Emma (&Faith).  The quality and attention detail was 2nd to none.  Easy to find with a freshly made breakfast.   Would certainly stay again and highly recommend this venue for and future stays.

Absolutely beautiful place from the scenery to the gorgeous rooms. The owners were pure delightful and couldnt do enough.Now..breakfast..wow fresh croissants, toast and a full fry!Tea coffee orange and Gareths own ginger drink..lovely.Really cant say good enough things other than we will be making this a yearly visit!And a special card and chocolates on arrival to celebrate hubbys birthday.

Just returned from an overnight stay at Mourne Country House.On arrival Gareth greeted my wife and I like he was our long lost son ! Hospitality from start to finish was first class and the B&B was spotless . Room and bed were very comfortable. Breakfast cooked to order was fantastic. Very quiet location with beautiful views. Our host was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation and breakfast was outstanding. We would stay here again.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to stay here. This was our favorite stay of our entire trip. The rooms were great, the views were amazing, food was delicious, and above all the hospitality was some of the best we've ever had. Can't wait to stay here again!

Lovely, homely feeling B&B with fabulous, attentive hosts.  Our room was very comfortable, with everything we needed for a couple of nights. We were here hiking in the Mournes, and the hosts offered baked muffins, fruit and water for our days outings.  But, honestly breakfast sets you up for the whole day and Gareth is knowledgeable for good eateries for dinner!

This is a cracking little B&B folks, faultless.  Great location for us walkers, lovely hosts and spotless accommodation.  Food offered here is just the real icing on the cake to set you off on your good day.

We went at Mourne Country House for our last night of our trip in North of Ireland.
It was a great experience: Gareth was attentive and so welcoming, Emma cooked very delicious breakfasts and their little girl was so cute (she served us the delicious Honey from Mourne Mountains).
The room and the guest area were very confortable and well decorated.
We highly recommend +++

What more can I say but thank you to the kind and brilliant hosts. Look this place is awesome and ok it is not the largest or luxurious room you may get but who cares. Kick back and chill out as it is comfortable and homely. Host and family are friendly and fun with a natural hospitable personality. Made to feel at home from the start.
Breakfast you order the night before as it is good not to waste food. Full Irish is good - apart from no soda bread. But I am being picky here.
Porridge and fruit brilliant. Great cup of tea and even some homemade cakes.

Easily the best B&B stay I've ever had. Gareth was attentive and welcoming throughout our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed while we were there. The room was gorgeous (especially loved the underfloor heating), the beds were comfortable and we were absolutely amazed by all the little extra touches that were provided that made it that much more special. To top it off, we were free to come and go as we pleased without being restricted to set times.  I would also like to take the chance to thank Emma for the delicious food provided throughout our stay; having a lovely home cooked breakfast each morning really improved our experience. I would definitely recommend staying here and the prices are more than reasonable for what you get.

Trip Away for Work.

The best B&B stay I've ever had 

Great to stay again and as wonderful as our previous stay. Immaculately clean, well appointed and comfortable room. A great night's sleep. Superb breakfast. If you want a real breakfast treat then have one as good as Emma's. All the research to source the best local produce was worth it! Thoroughly enjoyed our break.

As good as it gets!

Gareth & Emma are very helpful, giving us information about the area, where to eat and places to visit etc. They have thought of everything and nothing is too much hassle. All of the little touches give it a high-class feel and are perfect- great shower, perfect pillows and it’s so clean. Easily the best B&B we have found while touring Northern Ireland and we returned for an impromptu extra night! We are Game of Thrones fans and Gareth went out of his way to let us know all of the local sites to visit as well as providing a map with these on. Will definitely come back in the future.

Great rooms, lovely location, exceptional food and fantastic hosts- the best B&B we found in Northern Ireland! 

This is my second stay here as I travel for business trips and could not of been happier during my stay. A real home from home and it was great to return back to the B&B after a long day at work. 
The house is exceptionally well kept and decorated with stunning materials throughout, the rooms are fantastic as well as shower and bathroom. The great thing for me was the chance to use the downstairs lounge area as well as the eating area of an evening, rather that being stuck in a room.

If you're active, this is definitely the place for you, on your doorstep are the fantastic hills and views of the Mourne mountains and the towns of Kilkeel and Newcastle are within easy reach3

We really enjoyed our Stay at Mourne Country House B & B.
The warm welcome we received from Gareth was second to none. the B & B is up there with the best we have experienced. The bedroom was spacious and bed so comfortable. With the whole house up to such a high standard. With amazing views.  The breakfast was amazing and the Home Baking was the best we have experienced. The Blueberry Muffins  are soooo delicious. Amazing.  All a Credit to Emma.
