5 Star Accommodation. Great food, a lovely room and hosts that went way beyond what I expected. After walking for 14 days it was a wonderful surprise.

If I was ever in this part of Wales in the future I would make sure I stayed there again.

This is a lovely place to stay if you are visiting the area or walking the coastal path. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and all requirements supplied.The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice even for vegans. Our hosts were helpful and welcoming and we cannot recommend the place too highly. We will certainly be back when next in the area.

We arrived weary-legged after a long day's walk and were grateful to find our B & B so near the coastal path. Gill and Antosh, our hosts, were so very welcoming and helpful, and very interesting to talk to as they know so much about the area.   
It was also rather good in it is sited opposite an award winning pub with excellent food, which our hosts had booked for us at our request. Here we sat on a balcony on the edge of the estuary, watching the tide recedeing and the sea birds diving for fish and numerous wild geese flying in formation overhead. 
The house was very clean and cosy as were the rooms. These too have views over the estuary.
The breakfast looked like it truly deserved the praise it has received from others, but I don't eat much at this time so enjoyed a toasted slice of homemade bread, some delicious home-made blackcurrant jam and several cups of good coffee. Perfect!   
Altogether a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful part of the world.

My husband and I stayed here before starting out on the path. Gill was absolutely lovely to deal with - welcoming, funny, helpful. We had some guidebook issues and she helped us figure things out, talked to us extensively about the history of the area, gave us suggestions for many of the points along the way. The breakfast was delicious with so many choices, and the room was the cleanest room we’ve ever seen. Comfy, bright and cheerful with gorgeous views, too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from the moment we arrived until we left. Our room had a fantastic view of the river and was extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast thoroughly deserves the excellent reviews received. My scrambled eggs and smoked salmon was the best I've ever tasted. My husbands full English was on equal par,
Gill is very friendly and a font of all local knowledge - including recommending local walks. Highly recommended, cannot fault it at all.

On our last day in Wales hiking the Coast Path we had the pleasure of staying at Argo Villa with hosts Gill and Antosh. The day before I got injured on the trail and couldn’t complete the last stretch of the path. We called the morning of to see if I could stay at the bnb while my cousins finished the path. Gill said it was no problem and that I could wait in a sitting area while my room was being prepared. The hosts went above and beyond for me while I waited for my room. Making me tea, giving me lunch and a snack, and having great conversations. They even rented me a movie and set up their TV so I could watch. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Argo Villa had a wonderful atmosphere; I felt right at home!

Spotlessly clean, a room with a view, good breakfast, and very welcoming and charming hosts.

Brilliant location at the end (or start) of the Coast Path; and just opposite the Ferry Inn for supper at the end of quite a long day's walk from Newport.

We stayed here on the last night of our walking holiday and it was just the perfect end to a tiring week, yards away from the end of the coast path and with a good restaurant just opposite for dinner.  We had a lovely room with a view and an excellent breakfast. Thanks to our kind, interesting and helpful hosts.

Recently stayed one night at the end of a 7 day hike of the Pembrokeshire coastal path. We arrived early and we were welcomed with open arms. The rooms are clean, organized and large. Anything you might be missing, can be provided by your wonderful hosts.
We needed help finding our way out of St Dogmaels to get on the road to London and they provided wonderful guidance - in addition to this, they had ample information about local trails and historical information about Wales. A+ stay.
