Sleepers Guest House

This BnB is run by Dave & Denise, who were a delight to meet. Dave was fantastic with settling us in a giving us tips about what to see and do in York. The bus station is a 2 minute walk from the house, which takes you into the city centre. There is parking for 4 cars on the property but being located on a corner there is ample car parking on the side street also. We stayed in bedroom 1, which has the best ever, huge King Size bed -slept so well in this bed. The room has double glazed windows, we slept with one window open and we did hear the minimal traffic at night, however with windows closed- no noise at all. Although the bathroom was a bit small it had everything you could want. The room was immaculately clean and it was a large size, with tea- coffee facilities & biscuits provided. A fan, hair dryer and iron were also in the room tucked away. We met Denise at breakfast, a delightful host. The breakfast menu was unique and delicious. I loved the provision of fruit, yoghurts, sweet pastries and breakfast bars that you could also help yourself for breakfast, which was on top of the breakfast you could order. An excellent BnB, hosted by people who take pride in what they do and deliver exceptional service and accomodation. Highly recommended.
