The hotel looks newly renovated. Very fresh and cleanNo breakfast but that didn't bother us.Plenty of tea and coffee and water which was a nice touchLoved the huge and comfortable bed. Brilliant sleep and a great stay. We will be back

Excellent all round, although heating could be better.

One night stop. Seaview room. Excellent room. Recently refurbished, spotless. Greeted on arrival and very helpful with suggestions on local walks, cafés, pubs, restaurants etc. Would definitely stay again

A warm welcome. The room and bathroom were immaculate and the king size bed was comfortable.

It was a great experience, lovely host, great position, close bakeries and restaurants.

Bedroom with a bath right on the promenade.  Good value.  Friendly staff.

Had a lovely overnight stay in this super clear and cosy hotel. I had a single room overlooking the beach. It was tiny but perfect for one person. It was very clean and felt extremely safe as a woman travelling alone. The gentleman who greeted me was very friendly and welcoming. The entry system is really great so you can just come and go as you please. If you're a very light sleeper like me I'd recommend you bring ear plugs. The man sleeping next door to me snored louder than a fog horn on a ship so it kept me awake a lot but that is no reflection on how nice the hotel is. The only feedback I would give is that I would have loved a lamp in the room for when reading. Bed was so clean and comfortable though, good shower and nice towels.

Lovely hotel, very nice stay

The hotel is located on the main road across the beach, it is a nice well maintained property. I had a single room with ensuite booked for the night which was nice and clean with sea view, unfortunately due to the sunny day it was very warm as there is no A/C. A bit on the small side but acceptable for a nights stay.

Nice hotel with sea views.

The welcome was friendly when I entered the hotel. I was given some advice on where to eat and drink.First impressions were that the hotel was clean and well lit.In my room was a TV and tea/coffee making facilities, along with a comfortable bed.Street parking was easy enough to find just a short distance from the hotel.

Excellent hotel on the seafront

A very enjoyable stay at this delightful hotel. Although we were early for the check in time  we were greeted warmly and were offered to wait whilst our room was being prepared.  When we went into the room, the view across the bay was stunning, with evan a pair of binoculars which is a thoughtful touch. The room was spotless and very comfortable The 1 minor issue with the room was the size of the shower, which was somewhat restrictive.  Overall would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Well worth a visit

Only problen is the need i d. Luckily i had a man u membership card on me aswell as a bankcard or this could of been a big problem as booked on way to the resort and once booked thats that. Dont want to be running around at 8pm looking for somewhere else due to stupid reasons. Ive stayed in 40 other accom this yr amd never had this problem and would of required the room had i not had i d. Everything else is perfect thanks to mark the owner. And gets 5 stars. But i will emphasise that if people who dont know they need i d get turned away like myself i didnt know about the i d thing till the last minute then other accom needs to be found at the same price. Taking someones bank details for damages is a good idea but u cant turn pple away who dont know they require i d. I way 70 miles away from home when i found out

Perfect location right on the sea front and close to the train station and town centre. On arrival I had an incredibly friendly greeting with plenty of help avaliable if required. The room itself was very clean and tidy, with everything I needed avaliable. Would deffinatly recommend staying at this hotel!

Excellent - bring me sunshine!

I had a deluxe room, the view from the window was awful, considering it was deluxe, it could have had a sea view, good job i took toiletries, as there was no soap to wash your hands with!!!!! The towels were very rough, the King size bed was 2 singles put together, it was clean however.
