We had stayed here a few years ago and had such a wonderful experience when we wanted a weekend away with the family this is where we chose. Sally and Steve are excellent hosts. The house is very tastefully decorated, the bedroom are large, very clean and again decorated with thought and good taste. There is also a good selection of tea, coffee , fresh milk and water provided in the rooms. Car parking is very easy and spacious with no problem. The location is very good with a short walk to Porlock and a very easy walk to Porlock Weir. We ate in on both evenings because the food and ambience of the house is so good. Sally and Steve provide an evening meal with a good range of choice. The food is exceptional and as good as or even better that a lot of top restaurants. There is also a bar for a pre dinner drink as well as a good choice of wine. We stayed here for a weekend with our 2 children and their partners. It was the most perfect weekend. So a huge thank you to Sally and Steve for such a perfect stay and look forward to a return visit.
