85 reviewsI stayed here for over 2 weeks, mostly by myself, with my husband joining me at some points of my stay. when I booked I didn't know how long I would be staying, as my dad was in the last stages of his life and I wanted to be nearby. At first I was there only to sleep for a few hours each night. My room was a cosy and welcoming retreat at the end of each day. I just kept Vince informed of my situation and the room was kept a available for me. After a few days my dad died. It was then that I realized how fortunate I was to be staying in such a friendly place. Sarah and Vince were so kind, checking on me to make sure I was ok and had everything I needed, whilst ensuring that I had space, peace and quiet. I went home for a few days and returned with my husband to attend the funeral. We were given the same room, which had become home from home for me. Thank you Vince and Sarah for everything. I am so glad that I was able to stay at the King William -I don't think I would have felt so comfortable and looked after anywhere else during this difficult time.
