The Alan

Stayed on a signature deluxe room which was perfect,clean and well appointed Was offered a service by housekeepers but not needed as only a 2 night stay Really enjoyed breakfast on both mornings of stay especially the porridge which was fantastic Reception staff and breakfast staff were delightful To be picky my 2 negatives were, felt a bit of an inconvenience ordering our cocktails which were included in room rate on first night before we went out for dinner,staff had blocked off bar area for cleaning which is fine but atmosphere was a bit off and no one in it , if I’am honest was not the warmest experience but cocktails were good second night we asked for tea and milk for room and the gentleman at bar could not have been nicer or more accommodating Pillows in rm 308 were very lumpy,I’am sure if I would have told them they would have been changed so my bad really but they do need replacing Would happily stay at Alan again and hope for a more welcoming bar experience
