A well-located B&B, close to the centre of Lyndhurst with good off-road parking. We enjoyed a comfortable room which was clean & well-maintained. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot & cold options. The hosts were friendly and attentive. Thank you.

We recently stayed for a week with Alison and Nick on our annual visit to the New Forest, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!  Alison and Nick are wonderful hosts and the breakfasts are amazing. Ideal location for restaurants, pubs and walking in the Forest. Looking forward to next year already. Thank you Alison and Nick.

brilliant stay at lyndhurst house , alison and nick are there whenever you need them, breakfast is 1st class as are the rooms, and we have stayed  before in the different rooms, ideal location as 2 minute walk into lyndhurst village, great parking spaces for stay. would highly recommend. 5star place to stay for visiting new forest *****

Nick and Allison are fantastic hosts and lovely people. They were both immensely welcoming, helpful and generous, providing useful advice on local restaurants and woodland walks. The room was spacious, well facilitated, cosy and clean. Check in and check out were both seamless. Can’t recommend them enough if you’re looking to stay in Lyndhurst.

This place, for us, is faultless.

It will always be our choice to stay for a visit to the New Forest. 

There is nothing we dislike; we like the rooms, the breakfast, the location and the welcome we always receive from Nick and Alison.

Great Guest House - highly recommend. Spent 4 nights at Lyndhurst House in The Pig Sty and everything about our stay was Great. Location couldn't be better as it is only a 5 minute walk into town where you will find pubs and restaurants. Immaculate Condition throughout the Guest House. Parking free on the driveway where you can easily park 4 large cars. The room was exceptionally clean and very quiet with no traffic, outside people or other guests noise.  We booked the breakfast each morning which was excellent. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Lyndhurst House.

The Lyndhurst House has it all -gracious &  helpful hosts, spacious room & comfy bed, delicious full breakfast to order, and a great location.  We were greeted by friendly Nick who helped us with our luggage up to our room. Rooms have animal names, we were in the front room, the Pig Sty!  It was very comfortable with a good sized ensuite. We ordered our breakfast in the evening, including the time to be served - it was served up just as ordered.  There is a fridge in the breakfast room to use. Nick gave us great recommendations for a drive and hike in the New Forest, as well as local pub recommendations in Lyndhurst. 



The location of Lyndhurst House is ideally suited to those who want to visit the New Forest and the nearby coastal resorts. It is within easy walking distance of the pubs. restaurants and shops of Lyndhurst.
Nick and Alison are very attentive hosts providing very comfortable rooms and a high quality choice of breakfasts - the full English was particularly good.

Excellent Guest House in the heart of the New Forest 

Lyndhurst House has it all

Very pleasant stay in a professionally run establishment representing good value for money.

first time at Lyndhurst House and definitely not the last. Room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast menu gives a good choice, all freshly cooked and nothing was too much trouble. Well located for access to huge choice of very good local eating places for evening meal and for visiting local attractions. would highly recommend.

First time at Lyndhurst House (some beautiful original features) and we'd thoroughly recommend it. Nick was very friendly and knowledgeable on the area and Alison was clearly a good cook with Nick - as our breakfasts were delicious - particularly the scrambled eggs and poached eggs - always tricky to get right.  Our room & en-suite was also really modern, clean and bright with a very comfortable bed. Lyndhurst is a lovely town (albeit busy with traffic at times) with lots of restaurants and shops a short walk away... and a great base for the New Forest, which was beautiful to explore.  Thank you both for a delightful stay.

Perfect location in the New Forest

Very lovely room. The breakfast as always very nice and Nick and Alison always happy to accommodate our requests.
We especially enjoyed the selection of teas in the from, Sleep tea but Twinings was very nice, now to find it in the shops. 
Location is ideal for walking into Lyndhurst and not far to drive to get to everywhere in the New Forest. 

Another lovely stay at Lyndhurst House! 

Really lovely place to stay. Location is great, rooms very clean and comfortable, breakfast very tasty. Only 5 rooms but if anything, this makes it better with plenty of help available from the hosts if you need it. We stayed 3 nights and would highly recommend if looking for a short stay in the New Forest. Tip; book direct through the guest house, you'll get a better rate!
