Loch Lomond Arms Hotel

We stayed for one night at the Loch Lomond campsite in our Motorhome and the restaurant was recommended by a member of Staff on the campsite . The dining room and bar in the hotel is nicely decorated and has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. There is also a library to sit and have a drink in which adds to the Hotel's "Country House" vibe. We had a lovely meal . We started with the venison carpaccio and a delicious mushroom parfait which converted my partner ( strictly NOT a plant-base fan) into having more veggies !! We then had the rack of lamb and dauphinoise potatoes and the fish with celeriac puree and bubble and squeak. Both meals were cooked perfectly - lamb was pink and well seasoned whilst the fish was very tasty. We finished off with the banoffee tart which again was beautifully presented. Service was very good - the young staff were friendly and efficient despite it starting to get busy as a Friday evening. A big shout out to Emily who was lovely - attentive but not fussy and a credit to the Hotel . Would highly recommend if visiting the area . We thought it value for money as we also had wine and beers ( the French rose was very nice ) given the quality of the food , presentation and service .
