Genuinely never been somewhere with such good service. The Manager Dana was exceptional at meeting all of our needs and we could tell how much it meant to her that we enjoyed our dinner and our over night stay. She advised us of where to get breakfast in the morning too.. which was lovely also! The band we had the please of watching were amazing and the whole atmosphere of the pub really made me wish it was my local!! Would highly recommend!! Can’t wait to visit again. Thank you Dana

Great place to go for a Sunday roast. Food was amazing and plenty to eat. Thry catered for everyone e in our party ( veggie & celiac) Would recommend it to everyone. Staff really nice and welcoming. Definitely go back.

The Granary is a great little gem in the quaint Lincolnshire border village of Long Sutton.  The  landlord and lady are extremely friendly and attentive people, the pub has a great atmosphere, the food is excellent.   Having previously lived in Brighton with over 340 great pubs on my doorstep I was lost without a good venue when I moved here 2 years ago.   10/10 for service, food and friendly locals, highly recommended....

So me and my partner visited the granary for a night away together. I found it through a comparison site and decided to give it ago. We arrived late around the Saturday afternoon and was met with a smile and shown to our room number 5 right at the top of the building which suited us perfect. The bedroom was lovely and clean and even had the finishing touches such as tea station, tv and free samples of shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. We showered then came downstairs to the pub for some dinner which was brilliant food all cooked perfectly and big enough portions to fill you up but leave room for dessert. We decided to stay down for a few drinks that were very reasonably priced and because we were staying we could put it all into a tab to pay later at the end of the night. There was plenty of space to sit and chat inside and out and around 9 o’clock a live music band started which really added to the atmosphere. We finished our drinks headed up for the night around half 10 and to our surprise we couldn’t even hear the band still playing downstairs. Along with the hot weather at the moment we even where able to ask for a fan for the room which they provided. The only downfall to our trip which was a personal preference in the fact the bed was firm but the feather pillows where so soft and had no support that it felt like you sank into them which personally for us just isn’t comfortable. Other than that we weren’t disturbed for the rest of the night and it was lovely to be able to have a night away in such a lovely place. Would definitely visit again for the food and the Saturday night music. Great little getaway. 

We haven't been for a while, it was getting a bit run down,so i decided to give another chance now its under new ownership,and i must say its well worth trying the carvery,it really good value,good food ,nice surroundings

GREAT PLACE FOR A SUNDAY ROAST

What an improvement

Our daughter and son in law had arranged to take us out for dinner as we were visiting from Devon. We arrived at 7:15 and to be fair our starter came fairly quickly and was lovely.  From there it all went terribly wrong.  At 8:50 the table who had arrived after us got served. Our daughter went to find out what had happened and she said it was obvious from their faces that we had been forgotten. Food finally arrived but hers and mine the potato was cold and had to be sent back, my husband who wanted medium rate steak had one that was still mooing!!! also sent back. By the time we were eating it was almost 9:20 and none of us really wanted it then.  Some of the waitress staff seemed inexperienced and need some additional training to make sure that tables are not left .  If they get the basics sorted I'm sure there will be an improvement as the food wasn't bad.  However, pleased that they recognised what had happened and provided apology and some compensation.
